I still really think that Peggy's version is the version that I like best. While I really like the Jazz feel of Amy Irving's version, I just don't care for the breathy, sexy way she sung it. I much prefer the blunt and cheeky way Peggy sings it. It feels more appropriate for the song, like she's pitying him. "Tsk tsk. When are you gonna get it right?"

Literally weeping to this performance. Peggy Lee must've been one of the most enchanting women who ever lived.

This is one of my favorite Peggy Lee songs. Dave and Peggy did a lot of good songs together.

Peggy was simply the sultriest, sexiest singer ever...nonchalantly smokin' hot.

The last song i heard one day before a Deathclaw got me. Thankfully i save often. Peggy singing and Dave's smooth quitar play. Sweet. Also an excellent piano solo.

I was born 30 years too late.. Wish I would have been able to witness music like this bloom up in person.

The guitarist, Dave Barbour, was married to Peggy Lee at this time. They also wrote songs together. Everything is so cool sounding.

It amazes me she was singing in the 1930's, If I'm not mistaken, she always looked so young and pretty to me. On top of really being able to sing so greatly.

Definitely the best version of this song.
