I loved the 80's sitcoms. They were genuinely funny and usually delivered a moral lesson with each episode. Also loved "Amen".

OMG! Pee-wee Herman is just so fabulously goofy in this episode...I love it. And Jackee is just fabulous. They make a great couple. Pee-wee also guest starred on Murphy Brown as one of her many secretaries. It was by far my favorite Murphy Brown episode. Pee-wee makes everything better.

This is one of the funniest 227 episodes ever! Sandra:"I don't smoke I sizzle"! And what can you say about Pee Wee Herman's lines? Hilarious!

It was the late 80s, I was a little kid sick with a fever, home alone . It was midday. Stuck in my parents' bed, unable to sleep and unable to concentrate, all I had to distract myself was basic-channel TV playing syndicated reruns and soaps. For a little kid with a fever, it was mind-numbing torture. Then THIS came on. It was like gift from God.

That was the dance the Pee Wee Herman I always could get with that dance. And Regina King was keeping up and getting down with Pee Wee ❤

Our goal is to bring real entertainment, true talent, pure originality and diversity, old school and more back into the public mainstream, starting with the 1980s. Reality show trash will be completely extinct and long forgotten as game shows, variety shows, proper tv specials and unforgettable sitcoms make a permanent comeback into the mainstream. And there will be more and more family shows like 227, The Jeffersons and many other classic sitcoms. What's more? There will also be Soap Operettas, the compete opposite of Soap Operas. Instead of a Melodrama, they are officially Melocomedies.

Television was so wholesome and entertaining back in those days. You didn't just tune in to see your favourite program you stayed in front of the television for the entire program block. I watched 227 and Amen a lot but somehow I missed this episode. I had no idea Pee-Wee Herman guest stared. What a rare gem. Thanks for sharing!!

She wasn't thick back them but she is thick now. Her tits are noticeably bigger. Look up some recent photos of her. I think she still looks good. I remember being attracted to her on 227 because of her sassy and sexy personality. Her character Sandra quickly became the most popular character on the show which led to tension between Jackee and the show's actual star Marla Gibbs. In fact, a pilot for a 227 spinoff series centred on Sandra was filmed and aired in 1989. Sadly NBC did not pick it up for a continuing series.

HAhAH! Line of the show! "Yeah! It's water proof. I wear it in the shower, and so far, not a single drop has leaked out" hahaha
