I never understood what the problem was in that theatre. Like dudes (or whomever) watching triple XXX are just supposed to squirm in the seat and wait till they got home to 'culminate' the situation? Why would police make surprise appearances to check on that scene? It all just seems so strange to me. I always thought he was an interesting guy, and I loved his Playhouse. Reubens was unbelievably versatile. Well he was able to not be typed as say Lugosi was both being able to do straight parts with style! (Bela in Ninotchka was brilliant as the Soviet official in Paris and even Liberace (!) strutted is acting stuff in "Forever Yours," displaying a surprisingly sharp side in some key darker scenes, which I believe most did not notice.) Sure, Pee Wee Reubens made some mistakes but I think we all forgive him of them with giddy glee. The guy was just lovable I think and carrrrrazy funny!

I have questions about the cops in Sarasota. When they sit down for their monthly meeting about how they're allocating resources, how far down the list was: "Go to an adult theatre unannounced, and arrest everyone who is touching themselves" ?? Wtf! I'm obviously not condoning anything, but there better be no crime left to address before you resort to this smh. I gotta know, is that higher on the list or lower than pulling over hard working people, on their way to work, during rush hour, for going 6mph over the limit?

I think he was. He got himself in a bit of trouble with the same thing that causes problems for many men, but at least he didn't do any real damage as some often do. He wasn't my thing, but he had his place beyond any doubt for others.

One of the few from anti-morality hollywood, who did not die of a drug overdose or suicide. He had a problem IMO with his sexual desires, but we are taught to think with our skin color and genitals, instead of our brains. Overall, one of the better people who are involved in the entertainment industry, and they are often attacked. I will say it. RIP Paul Reubens, because even though being bad part time is still not good, he did some good. I think he made us laugh, with out destroying morality.

I first saw this mad genius in a Cheech and Chong movie. Those guys know talent when they see it. Never watched the Playhouse, I kinda saw that as a "kids only " thing and I regret it now. When I heard of his death, I was floored. I suppose that I believed that someone THAT wonderful would outlast me, along with the FCC. He is sorely missed by millions, and no wonder. He was awesome.
