Pedals and Effects: Mood by Chase Bliss Audio

Музыка

Day in, and day out, there are a lot of pedals that pass through 5Starr Sound Labs. Nick and I are fortunate enough to play a lot of new and interesting effects pedals. We’re in the golden age of effects pedals, and while for the most part, new pedals are improvements or innovations built on existing effects, every so often we get something completely new. The new Chase Bliss Mood, is exactly that, it’s new, it’s weird, we love it, and we think you will too.

The rationale behind the CBA form-factor is like the difference between the Intro Course in some discipline, and the Advanced Seminar in that same topic. The dipswitches allow for more advanced capabilities, but the basic 6-knob/3-toggle interface allows one to still do a lot without getting obsessive.

Not entirely the same, but the tensor definitely sounds like the drolo if you're doing short momentary sampling, but the drolo is eliminating the need to stomp the button plus interrupting the loop. I'd say in a way this is all the red panda pedals smushed together. Amazing to say the least.

I know what you mean by some pedal demos just playing shitty licks through a pedal without using the pedal as it was intended. While that’s not wrong it is annoying when you are trying to figure out if the pedal is worth the money. I just end up watching synth guys review guitar pedals lol. I like the way you guys just experiment because it’s the same as I would approach a pedal. Nice work fellas!
