Great that you’ve finally made it here! Was at the Borden game here just after Covid-19 restrictions began to ease. Nice little ground and you can purchase a can of Peckham Pils beer and enjoy the game. There are more local football grounds in the area, if you’re into Sunday League? Southern Sunday and Orpington & Bromley (leagues).

Another great clip of a lovely ground, which I visited for the first time only a week of so back. A must for all hoppers, just for the Worlds Smallest Stand

Hi Elliot, if you watch the tackle in the box in the 2nd half, you will hear rhe ref blow. He gave a penalty, but then the linesman talked him out of it. Any thoughts?

Initially, I thought it was for a late offside! Looked at it twice. From your view, firm challenge and ball was won. Didn't think there was anything careless in it. I would guess the referee wasn't able to get into the best angle and probably saw just the defender making contact with the player. What doesn't help is the ball is travelling in a similar direction after the defender makes contact with it but you can tell the speed of the ball increases from the tackle. Assistant was probably better placed for a view of the defender getting to the ball

Also you can see the defender is in control of his body as he didn't jump off the ground.

@ChrisWhiteAroundTheGround Unfortunately, not everyone in the crowd is prepared to run with the whistle! I can certainly see why a referee would give it if they were out of position but with the hindsight of multiple views from your footage and people also having a better view due to the angle they are at, it certainly looked a fair tackle.
