Why does a Job Centre need 5 security guards? Who is paying for them? Does the butcher, the baker or the candle stick maker need 5 security guards? Just pissing tax payers money away. What are the police force for? Would the money be better given to NHS nurses?

I notice that the security ask people coming into the job centre what they want to do they are there as security they are not DWP staff whose job is to ask and assist them

again, if i have a foreign accent would it be easier to get a job in security or in the police?..let me think.....

What are job centres these days. They look appalling why so much security. They need quality, not quantity.

They are so tribal in their outlook.

I would respond when asked "why are you doing this," It's primarily an education and exercise on all our rights that over the years many people died for., and good on you for your effort.

Wow so soon. Great work. I wanted to see if the DWP worker has changed his demeanour... Maybe he has been fired for that or something else. Imagine getting treated like that plus all the public stigma when you have to be there looking for a job with some of your personal details exposed.

35 minutes of arguing with goons and I still never saw the walls. I always end up feeling cornered and surrounded with your videos. It was disturbing how those brainless thugs were only focused on you and you stood there and didn’t make them chase you and make fools of themselves. Just comply. This was not a pass in any way. You are still letting them corral you.

Good on TLA. We should all be allowed to film in the job center and hopefully if enough people do this eventually they will give in. I'm telling you I have had them threatening me with sanctions illegally. They two times ask for something from me that was not mandatory and was supposed to be optional. Plus I saw one of these security guards knock someone out in front of a police officer and a whole bunch of job seekers and the guy even said please someone be my witness. No one said anything because they didn't want to take the chance that there money may be stopped. If people was filming that probably wouldn't of happened. I have to admit I felt like crap for not speaking up. But I need to eat and pay bills. Plus I remember failing a medical and when I looked at the reasons why I did not qualify. I noticed that the person doing the medical just wrote down opposite answers to what I said. For example. 9ne question was is there any hobbies and day to day activities or some such that you can't do now as a result of your disability. I said yes and went into further details. They just wrote down NO. It's Criminal. In the DWP literature it tells you to film or voice record with a dictaphone. My Farther got told that they would not go through with the medical if he did either, when he went prepared. GET THIS, they tried denying my claim by saying we find you are not at risk of seizures or black outs, when I was on two different anti phychotics for treating seizures and black outs. Well my Lawyer sorted that out. They didn't stand a chance. But it just goes to show that they are corrupt. I bet they do that sort of sh!t to millions of applicants knowing that some people just give up. It's disgusting really. They are supposed to be there to help people. And that particular branch that deal with the medically rendered unable to work and the disabled. Usually what we consider Vulnerable people. No this is GOOD IMPORTANT Work that Men like TLA and AB and the like do. THANK YOU LADS. Keep Up The Good Work 👍.

Just out of curiosity, do people learn de-escalation skills when they are training to become a security guard (ie G4S)? @04:10 --> I have yet to see the entire video, but the man has asked a reasonable question. Having watched more of the video, this man is actually doing a good job. He is having a decent conversation with you and his conduct is significantly better than some of the other people who have been showcased in these types of audits.

The point of the video is to prove that G4s staff think they have justification in preventing a lawfull activity and can physically challenge members of the public when in fact G4s security have no rights at all to approach any customers for any reason other than a security breach and are not allowed to ask any data protected questions, An example of G4s powers are just the same as any other person and using Citezens arrest for threatening or assaulting staff or other members of public is the only time a security guard can lay hands on anyone and again limited reasonable intervention and self defense is the only option,

At start of incident a security person physically pushes the auditer ,Then pandemonium breaks out with six security staff surrounding the auditer like a pack of wild dogs , Only after the auditer shows no fear the pack disperse then the security geezer uses reverse psychological reasoning " The Stockholm Syndrome " where the perpetrators become friendly and speak softly with the intent of becoming more reasonable and potentially getting there victim to adhere to there demands, Patty Hearst is a prime example where she was kidnapped and ended up being a gun toting ring leader in the gang that kidnapped her you be the judge?

Great visit - these guys were ready for the visit, you can see they are acting completely differently and I guess there was a communication that was cascaded down to the security

Much of the blame lies with G4S they recruit such poor calibre staff, they really have to be desperate to work for buttons. G4S then give them hopelessly inadequate training. Sadly, they then truly believe that their SIA badge gives them quasi police powers.

I really do hope that the chap you were talking to does watch this. The difference in treatment was night and day. There's still some work some of them need to get on with about what their jobs entail but, on the whole, the improvement this time was remarkable. Well done on the way this audit was handled by both The Laughing Auditor AND most of the security personnel. See GS4, your behaviour IS watched - not only in Britain but overseas as well. 😉

As a second comment I believe you did good telling them what you're channel is and that way they can go visit it and find out they were wrong and you were right. I blame G4S as they have not trained the guards in this, yes they are subbed to the DWP but the security company need to protect their employees .

Wtf is going on in these job centres to warrant so many security guards… it’s just weird and must be costing an absolute fortune.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to print out the policy, as well as the public photography laws yourself that gives you the right to be there and do what you're doing? and maybe take it with you so you can educate them about it, that way they don't do it to the next person. Even if you only do that in the places where you're doing a re-visit if they're still telling you that you can't record in there, because clearly they didn't learn their lesson the 1st time and that is probably gonna be the only way they're gonna learn that you're doing nothing wrong!

I worked at the job centre for around fourteen years and security is a necessity.

You should come a pay a visit to the Forest Hill Jobcentre some of the guards in there are clowns. I have complainted to the DWP manager about some of them not wearing their SIA badges time and time again the same guards and also DWP staff not wearing ID badge as well and she was not intrested about my complaint and one of the guards was very aggressive. Also a member of DWP staff not wearing a badge and greeting customers when I challanged him his reply was I am in the secert service do you think I am a volunteer I adviced him to read the DWP policies. This type of behaviour is against Civil Service and DWP policies Section 7 Access to Jobcentre plus services state they must greet you in a business like way and wear a name badge. I will be putting in a complaint about this unprofessional conduct as the Front of house manager is as useful as a chooclate teapot and needs to be sacked on the spot.
