Peckerwood Gang Member Opens Up About Serving A LIFE SENTENCE Under California's 3 Strike Law
Ойын-сауық
Chris Curtis grew up in Orange County, California in area rife with addiction and crime. As a child he was not protected from this reality and in fact was encouraged to be a part of it. Struggling with addiction and turning to a life of crime, Chris ended up getting sentenced to life in prison as a result of California's Three Strikes law. There he found himself in some of the most dangerous institutions in the state. He's on the show to talk about how he ended up getting out of prison with a life sentence, cleaning up and overcoming his addiction, and becoming a mentor of hope for kids just like he was.

I respect the fact that Johnny pushed back on the guest trying to normalize his father giving him drugs at a very early age. That’s not normal, that’s not cool, you don’t give kids drugs, your kids or not. 80s or not the courts would’ve had some kind of sympathy.

Depends on the situation. If they're sniffing glue or something because they can get weed, I'd probably rather help them not ruin their lives. People give alcohol to kids and that's a drug and dangerous. Sugar and other foods can also kill people and giving children that can ruin their lives.

This guys story is close to mine. i turned 18 in C.Y.A. then turned 19 in Pelican Bay main line after 7mo SHU term, Paroled out of Corcoran. OC Skinhead IWB. early 90's. Lots of fucked up memories coming back. only way i got out of the system was to move to San Diego and start over.
I didn't know why you didn't do live shows. I follow a creator that only has 8k subs. They make between 70-90k a year off doing lives. They do 2 1hr shows per day. Even a show or 2 a week could make a difference for you. Only wish you the best Jeff
Love the town of Orange and Laguna our first trip to Cali years ago, I hope they can get better leadership and lighten up on over taxation and nanny state crap that bleeds residents and businesses dry with zealous over Believe me I know, living in N.J.
Dude in thumbnail on the right is a Fresno Bulldog.. Which is NOT a white gang..

We went to Santa Ana and got it from them. You got to be from OC.
this sounds more like an interrogation than an interview
This man changed for the better. You can instantly telll he didnt even want to tell stories about the brutal stuff that happens. He has forgot about that. Respect 👍

I’m from orange as well, went to villa park high school. Definitely nice but some kids still grow up differently behind the scenes

Chris though he had everything. And Johnny reminded him that he did not have books. Which is fair. But as we go deeper we see Chris and his hyperactivity made for a good motorcycle mechanic and electrician. And as he interview went on Chris relaxes and communicates more clearly. Great content, but also good because we see two different kind of guys. Johnny's dad was a lawyer and he attended college. Where as Chris is from the blue collar, OC, drug culture. It is "Town vs Gown" on exhibition as well as all the tales from the burned out Anaheim motel room.
I’m a hardcore addict for 30 years, now I just do alcohol cuz I’m a functioning alcoholic, but I used to do all drugs especially meth and heroin and pills and cocaine and crack, and ecstasy, I was doing it all by my main drug was meth, and I became a legitimate crazy person, I was a paranoid schizophrenic for almost 4 years, I only went to jail 3 times but I never went to jail sober, I was always high or drunk, but my biggest problem in life is substance abuse, it’s been my biggest struggle but I’ve been off drugs for 3 years now, drugs will be your downfall, you can’t control these drugs
I was in garbage grove when this guy was out and about and worked in Orange off Katella and state college.
Did you have books!?

The plug is like calling bartenders mixologists. If you got a connect, the. That means you’re a middle man. Work g the hardest to make the least %profit. Johnny doesn’t have any weed knowledge. AT ALL. He didn’t grow, doesn’t know a thing barely about strains and genetics and breeding. He was a grunt. Humping big payloads around the country. He also was fast and die young and crashed out. He’s got no staying power or long skills. I know real comedians and they’re all telling me fake fraud and Johnny paid for all his subs, well a lot. Don’t be fooled by the number. If you believe in bot comments but not bot subs you’re not that smart
