Hopefully this is something that borderlands 4 will have on launch or at least added in dlc. I would honestly love to see borderlands 4 be so complete and polished that no mods are ever needed.

on top of this id like borderlands 4 to put more time into content after the story, one big reason i dont play bl3 so much is because the story is very long and has an entire planet (eden 6) that was just unfun to run through. I wouldnt mind if gearboxes focus a tiny bit less time into story and more into replayability and content

Only K6 can miss an enemy that is frozen solid.

I always loved pearls in BL2. I loved how special it felt getting one to world drop. Still remember my first Butcher that dropped while farming loot midgets. It carried me through a few OP levels until I ended up getting another way later that was OP8 (I never liked going to OP10 because it's unbalanced)

The next BL game needs to have the endgame of bl2 and a little bl3 and bring back seraph and pearls. Mayhem mode scaling instead of the OP scaling

@rougeassassin369 I can agree with that statement, I'd love both pearls and seraphs to make a return and definitely make the endgame a mixture of BL2 and BL3. I love Maliwan Takedown from 3 but the other takedown not so much. Mayhem over OP levels anyway of the week

That shield would be so good. Knife drain is all you need to get all the healing. And if you want a terror build it gives you a way to stack it. I wanna play around with this

Took a while and I lost a few channel points because it didn't drop

It was fun watching this live. God I hope BL4 has this built into vanilla.

I started farming these the other day. Took me 99 runs to get the drop from shiv, still working on the others lol

The pearls mod is so sick. Love how realistic it is in that the loot is practically useless compared to the best legendaries. P.s. How did you crank your drop rates up? Asking for totally not cheaty/uncouth reasons ❤

That’s melee shield seemed gimicky, but interesting. Surprisingly my fav shield in the mod is the rough rider… may have been slightly over tuned XD

kinda weird to have a specific pearl being in someones loot pool but it's cool to have them! I hope BL4 will have them again (and be actual good please i am begging you something this rare needs to shred)

Seeing as this mod only exists on PC, that should answer your question. The game with all DLC is already pushing 120g, any more information added would damn near require old gen players to have a console dedicated strictly to BL3 😂

drop chances like 2% is not good especially when in a game like BL3 where gear has so much different variables to them. I like pearls but this whole mentality of rare weapons for the sake of being rare is very dumb.

Couldn't you use the guardian angel with the bone marrow and if it can crit you could crit swap to the unforgiven as well. Wonder if that would make it useable on bosses? Like FL4K fadeaway to get the crits constantly on it as well

4months later I downloaded it... Shield is crazy lol. Don't even have it fully set up, just an angel, unleash the dragon and that's it. Thing shreds

Does anybody else find it strange that pearls weren't added by devs at some point in bl3. A lot of peoples main criticism of bl3 was that legendaries drop far to often. Surely introducing pearls at a much lower drop rate would stop some of the criticism in terms of pearls being a more sought after rarity and dropping a rate closer to what we had in bl2.

In absolute fairness I was here for the launch of bl3 and played split screen with my partner at the time and the game was awful performance wise on xbox one. We couldn't even open inventory screen without it crashing

Even if they miraculously stayed as a pearl (which they almost certainly wouldn't) much like DLC items, you wouldn't be able to equip them without the mod active

No. The card for Mayhem 11 lies. They never reduced it. It’s IDENTICAL to Mayhem 10 but no modifiers

No mod. Grab Butt Stallion milk from the Borderlands science machine and or the Shlooter from the Vault Cards

What I learned from this is that Gearbox lied when they said it was impossible to add pearls to borderlands 3 without getting rid of one of the other rarities…

They didn’t lie. The problem is old gen consoles. Randy Pitchford all but said that they were to blame for holding back a lot of the things they COULD have done

Pearls in BL3 are cool and all but could be cooler if it was an actual update to the game and not a fan made mod

There’s no drama. Some people think that WE are responsible for Gearbox and 2K’s decisions. We can’t make them do anything. We made plenty of videos asking for fixes and changes. Got a bunch but not everything. So… somehow that means we are to blame according to the drama people. Let them keep blaming us. That won’t fix anything. Huge waste of time and energy

I don’t much care for the whole “modded community”. I think it flat out ruins the online player experience for console players and pc players a like. I say keep the mods if you guys like em so much but make it a offline only feature. Personally I played bl3 a ton when it came out,collected loot as I chased the level cap increases, re looting over and over,trying new builds etc, then one day some random person joined my public game and dropped a bunch of modded gear. Now I don’t even play the game or collect the loot that drops when I do play because it will never be as good as the modded gear. All that time grinding just for nothing.
