Experienced that yesterday in Berlin 😊

I remember being a teen in 93, 94 sitting in my room and painting the whole night and listening to Pearl Jam Ten and Vs. on loop. This band really touches my soul since then. 🖤

I still get chills EVERY time I listen to this and have since the first time I heard it.

There’s no other singer, who sings with so much passion like Eddie

So many memories attached to this song to people in my mothers generation. I may be able to experience the music now in 2022 as a 16 year old but I’ll never experience it the way my mother experienced it when she was 16. Me and my mom come from a small town in upstate New York and even though I wasn’t there when this song came out. It still has a melancholic meaning and feeling to me being from a small town and seeing my friends move away and come back for vacation on Lake Ontario sometimes and they change so much and I’m just stuck in the past and they all grow up and I see them every now and then and I’m just stuck. These lyrics really hit my soul, can’t imagine how it feels for my mom when her old friends from high school visit. Truly a great song with a great meaning

It has this strange duality of being something to make you happy when you're sad, and sad when you're happy, a la "This too shall pass." It is a poignant reminder to enjoy each day, love the people who treat you right, spread joy to as many people you can, because one day, you will look back and remember those times you took for granted. A lesson we all forget from time to time. The memories I have attached to this song are special, but even in time, those will fade, as well.

I love this PJ song. The lyrics feels extremely relatable, the instruments are always on point. Then there's Eddie's voice about like his very own instrument. No matter how I'm feeling I can always rely on PJ and beautiful Eddie to help me enjoy the good times and during the bad they're the friends I can rely on to cry it out. They are absolutely my favorite band. I've been listening to them since I was 14 and I am 40, I want their music played at my funeral but not to make people sad, but to makel a celebration of my life my life with the music I spent so much of my life listening to and maybe by a few songs learn something new about me they didn't know. I know that was a bit off topic but that's just how passionate I am about music. Remember something, when you are feeling down just play some Pearl Jam and think VEDDER MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER!
