While I think Michael made the right choices with regard to how he uses his voice, still loving hearing him do opera! Lovely.

That was wonderful. Two of my favorite singers, thank you for posting.

I've been listening to other singers do this duet. Untrained though he is, Michael gives a creditable performance. Noticed two things. So many other performances are so slow. These two are singing about their friendship, but it might as well be a dirge. This tempo makes it sound like they are "talking" to one another. And two, the baritone often drowns out the tenor. Alfie with his "lighter, brighter" voice always shines, no matter how much volume Michael pumps through.

Never thought I would hear Michael singing opera. although I am not a fan of opera I thought this was brilliant

Well done. My friend is trained in opera and said this is comparable to the Jussi Bjorling version. Just perfect Michael and Alfie. Thank you.
