Pear Tree Ranchin 029: Problem Horse Series, We found the Rear button! Helping a Rearing Horse
In this session of our Problem Horse Series, we make it all the way through Jake's bare minimum ground work check list, and while wearing the saddle! We also progress to the "And Then" list, by tying the horse around so he learn to move while having a feel on his face. This helps us find the rear button!

Ryan Rose says, “Speed kills”. I wish I’d known this years ago, too. All I know is that my horses are so appreciative that I found Ryan n Jake.
So this explains why he feared when the owner tried to bend his neck. Genius!❤
I love watching your dog during these sessions. I'll bet he's one heck of a herding dog...if he's ever had that opportunity. I wonder how the horses feel about him giving them the herding eye.

She is a pretty good herding dog when I keep her tuned up. The horses dont mind her and it is a good read on the horses as well.

no I think the opposite. dog is smart an useful. horse has nothing to fear. a confidence booster and a horse that freaks over a dog is mighty keyed-up Jake what you say?
