Ingredients :
500g peanuts (花生)
60g white sesame seeds (白芝麻)
Syrup (糖浆):
240g sugar (白砂糖)
120ml water (水)
2 tbsp maltose (麦芽糖)
1 tsp vinegar (白醋)

In the 70's, my mom will add 1 or 2 small lime juice and ginger juice when cooking the sugar syrup...we never add vinegar. But this is the my family recipe..

You can use liquid glucose instead of maltose

Failed I used wax paper 😢and it’s all stick to the paper also I can’t roll it. It’s all getting hard but I am not give up I will try again 失敗了,我用了蠟紙😢,它都黏在紙上了,我也無法捲起來。一切都變得很硬,但我不會放棄,我會再試一次

I tried the recipe, it was disastrous as the caramel is not enough to coat the 500g peanuts. As a result the peanuts and sesame cannot be cut into bars like what you have shown. It was all loose. I referred to another recipe the ratio of peanuts was much lesser than what you have given.. I had to cook another portion of caramel to bind the peanuts and sesame seeds again. Please correct your recipe.
