I know these guys have some of the lowest IQs of any reactors I’ve ever seen, I’ll see if I can stomach any more as it’s such a good show but man it’s hard to watch these guys

My husband and me binged watched Peaky Blinders earlier this year. We had to watch it while our daughter was asleep, so either late at night or early in the morning

In 1919 (the year season 1 takes place) Winston churchil was minister of munitions iirc. A pretty damn fitting position to bring him into the picture of this series if you ask me. 😂

The soundtrack to this show is another character !!! The Tom Yorke stuff near end is like prophetic Beatles level stuff !! After several run throughs I feel this is one of best 3 series in history .

It is interesting how US reactors always have the same response after finding out Freddie is a communist. To most people in Europe, Communism was a well meaning, but misguided political ideology which ended up being taken over and misused by corrupt individuals. But to Americans, a communist character MUST be evil and bad and only up to no good. In the UK at this time, communist and socialist organisers helped set up the trade union movement which improved the working conditions for millions of people. Freddie's not wrong for wanting to fight to protect the interest of the factory workers, and Churchill's not wrong fear communist influence - after what had recently happened in Russia at this time. Who's more right and more wrong is a matter of perspective.

I was definitely an inadvertently Communist when working in Central London in 1970s and ; the 1980s. O got paid the same as my workmates, and, generously, allowed them to do nearly all the work...

My grandfather was an elected Communist politician. MANY men, became Communusts after the world wars. Like Tommy, my Grandad threw his medals into a fire. They saw how the rich and powers that be sent men and the poor to war.

I’m from the UK and communism has caused more deaths than any war combined and will never work nor socialism it’s perfectly rational to dislike it even tho these guys only do it because they have been drinking up the American propaganda all their lives
