You’ve probably figured this out by now but if you clip the strap to the left of your camera and then clip the right to the bottom mount you’ll be able to shoot portrait and landscape without any of the straps getting in your way

This was a really sensible review, thanks! I thought I could share some useful feedback, as I've been an user of the anchor connectors for quiet some time. They absolutely do not break, and they haven't deteriorated noticibly in about 3 years. I put them on my EOS R with a Canon 24-105mm 3.5 with the adaptor ring, which made the lenses even larger, and they've stayed supporting that weight every time I used my camera since then. Thing is I don't even have the specific anchor mount, I put it on my standard camera shoe and always carried it in the sling position for this long with no problems. So their only downside isn't even relevant, the anchor mount is just an extra. They will attach to almost any camera or strap, even the one that comes by default. This product separetely is what you are looking for if you already like the material and design of your strap. However, the leash and the other peak design straps are so well designed, convenient and reliable I wouldn't keep looking anywhere else if you really wanted a new one. The price is completely worth it.

I'm waiting for my Leash to arrive. The little tripod mount plate will find a place in my camera bag if I don't use it. I wouldn't worry too much about losing the hex wrench...they are as common as screwdrivers. You can buy one, or a set of them in different sizes at Home Depot, Lowe's, or any home improvement store. Pretty handy to have around the house.

Get the peak design capture clip so the plate stays on the camera and you can use it to attach to strap, gorilla pod 5k and to capture base on a bag or on a belt......

💥Great video., thank you. I’m quite upset that I lost my original version of the leash that I bought in 2018. This new design is not as sleek and the adjustable buckles are so much bigger. I hope that I’m going to be ok with this new one. The original was perfect with my Sony RX10 and I use the Slide with my Nikon D750

That’s why I stopped using this strap. Metal (any type) will scratch your camera’s paintwork when you stow your’ gear in your bag.

Hi. I would say yes. I think the strap width adds to the comfort level. I used to have a regular camera strap with a thicker width and I found that it tends to dig into the back of your neck after a while. This strap is much thinner and allow the back of your neck to breath better. Have fun in your travels.

Can't you just remove the small metal clips from the camera and directly put the connectors on the metal part of the camera? You won't have that rattle and less parts that could fail?

I don't see an easy way to remove them unless I cut them off with special tools. I usually try to keep the camera intact so that it retains a better resale value.
