You can tell how much Norn's matured this season. She had the emotional intelligence to realize Aisha was holding back from hugging Lilia out of consideration for the fact that Norn can't do that for her own mother, and reassured her that it's okay to express her relief and happiness at seeing her mother again even if Norn can't.

Norn immediately tried to blame Rudy before stopping herself, so I, on the other hand, felt no sympathy. Then she doubled down after getting her excuse. Even though Paul's death and Roxy's arrival are mostly her fault, as it would not happen of she did not push Rudy.

Nah, Rudy is who he is because of Roxy and Eris. Nobody hates Sylphie, she's a good wife, but we just don't agree that she's the best or that she's a foundation for many reasons: - She didn't look for any of Rudy's family despite living with them and teleporting along with them - No initiative to get a proper mage staff despite her connections. Or study water god style to be a proper Ariel's bodyguard - Didn't reach saint level in anything despite being in Ranoa - Has no interests. Cliff has curses, Zanoba has dolls, Nanahoshi has magic circles. She's the only character with nothing.

​@@samgyupsal-n1c not to hate but to counter attack with some more info (positive) about sylphy may contain 1 or 2 minor spoilers¿? tried to not spoil future seasons, sorry if i did. - you are right, she didn't tried to seach on her own, she just told ariel to do it (because she lacks self esteem to do anything by herself:/) - she only had ariel, and ariel had not much money, but actually bought sylphy some equipment, like the speed boots (and that wand was gifted to her by rudeus, so she would die first before changing it for another wand, even if more effective/useful), etc; she was just a temporary bodyguard, and ariel had no funds to hire someone to teach her sword (and why? sylphy is above average mages) - she is advanced rank in 4 magics, VERY RARE in that world, and she is THE ONLY one in the series (aside from dragon god orsted) that can do chantless healing magic (and thats op). And she did reach king level (barely) water magic. She's THE ONLY character known in the series that can use chantless detoxification magic. Finally, she can use disturb magic, only used by dragon god orsted and rudeus. She is a top tier mage in mushoku, just outshined by rudeus and another 2-3 mages a lot older than her - to add to the possitivity, she's the pillar of the house, if she says no, then everyone says no. If she speaks, everyone in the house shuts up, if she gets mad, everyone get mad at that person. -you are right, her only interest is caring for rudy and his child, she will almost always be at home, taking care of everyone who lives in it, her only hobby is that, be at home, caring and waiting for rudy. (and IIRC she cooks with aisha sometimes). Hope my comment is taken in a good way, don't want to fight, just to talk about sylphy good/bad things, i love that character with all its flaws.

She even has info on manatite hydra. Anyway, I'm just pointing out the fact that Sylphie didn't further improve what was given to her though she was given a lot of interesting traits: - Voiceless and high mana capacity by Rudy - Healing and detox by Zennith - Level up on water tier by ******* - Job, magical items, comfy bed and meals by Ariel

6:48 the anime has been super inconsistent with heights, mostly in S2. Roxy is supposed to be like 150cm tall, while Sylphy is 155cm. Rudeus is also supposed to be 175cm at this point, while Pa/ul was 180cm, until he ended up being 90cm at least. Hopefully we're getting an OVA for Eris. They had better not try to cram her stuff into S3. The LN had been giving her POV throughout the novels that S2 has adapted, so it makes more sense to do it as an OVA.

Norn diss track is 🔥, Rudy can't spit back and Roxy just opted to leave from those bars, truly an icon. 12:18 She added in the LN that she was actually expecting Rudy to bring home someone among Pursena, Linia, and Nanahoshi. Which was why Hitogami advised to take one of the beast girls previously, as he knew Sylphie must've simulated this very scene in her mind multiple times. 14:45 In the LN, Rudy actually had some shame and opted that he and Roxy wouldn't do it until Sylphie had birth. So the next day after Lucy was born... As for Eris, I think I've seen a post about a month ago regarding an OVA after S2 and this would undoubtedly be about her.

Okay so like that doesn’t happen in the light novel

There is one more call back. When Norn started yelling at Roxy, Rudy tried to protest, but Norn said, "brother you shut up" in the same tone and sentence Zenith said to Paul in the Lilia pregnancy reveal scene. I think that's what took Rudy aback, I guess like mother like daughter. Norn was still inside Zenith at the time, so only Rudy and maybe Lilia would remember that.

Translation error. Rudy child is Lucy not Lucie. Idk why it's that (this probably fix by chatter)

What a great anime Mushoku Tensei is. And there is SO MUCH lore and content that is not being adapted, that would enrich the world much more. If anyone really likes anime, I highly recommend reading the novels, they are so well written and have the best ending I have seen in any other story.

It’s funny, Norm roasted Sylphie when she came to live with them because “Rudy was with a new woman” having last seen him with Eris. Now she did it again with Roxy. And when Rudy asked to be with Roxy as a kid, she said ask me again in ten years. Now, ten years later, he asked again, though this time it was ask me again when you have your wife’s permission. The story flows in such pleasant ways.

I was almost out-of-body for the period between crowning and them laying our baby on my wife's chest. The look on my wife's face was unforgettable. While a high enough level of Healing Magic could regrow limbs, tracking a mage that can do it will be very hard and probably very expensive. I'm pretty sure the only one who met so far who could do it is Orsted.

Nicely done season, with that Rudeus has gotten grass type (Sylphie) and water type (Roxy) waifu in his hand. The only thing missing is fire type waifu to finish the collection and I am ready for it.

Anime is the only thing that can make you laugh, horny and cry at the same time. This one is a tear jerker.

I was able to say a lot about the philosophical/mental side of things in relation to Rudy's position last episode but damn if I didn't have the single most intense itch of discomfort crawl up my spine the moment they started talking about Roxy joining the family. I had to pause so many times because of it too. Still a beautiful episode in a lot of ways for sure and it was a good stopping point but damn if this series characters don't have a real talent for making me feel stuff. It's that thing of in most isekai's harems are almost 100% natural and it doesn't even feel weird to see them but here? I certainly felt a lot about that entire scene of Rudy asking to make Roxy his next wife. I did think Norn maybe said a bit too much considering her position but it does also match Sylphie's character to be more quiet and digest the information before saying anything. Although now that S3 is confirmed I'm conflicted whether I want to go read the LN's or wait for the next season . . .

Hell nah, this is the Norn show now, she was the only character that acted the way a normal person this episode
