@@EmeraldPixelGamingEPG I am fully aware that Jesus and his disciples suffered and that Jesus died for our sins, but please remind where in the BIBLE does it explicitly say that those sins included being LGBTQ+, of a different skin color, or being woman who has control of their body and sexuality. I want you to refer to me to the specific verses, scriptures, or statements from the original bible that can actually prove (if there is proof) that everything I just mentioned is a sin which Jesus and his disciples suffered for.

I'm still nervous to play this song without headphones just in case I bother anyone else, but it definitely helps me because it clearly expresses how some stuff in christianity just doesn't make sense and is hurtful. I think God isn't so much the freak as the people who have followed the Bible to an extreme extent and feel the need to monitor other people's behavior.

I've had this song on loop for about half an hour and I'm probably going to be listening for a while longer. It's so catchy and it kind of shows some of the progress I've made. I left Christianity almost a year ago I can dance to this song without fear of damnation. I wouldn't be playing this in front of my family, but that's mostly because I don't want the conflict and drama it would probably cause. This song is great!

This song is directly at the intersection of a serotonin dump and crying from my religious trauma. Peach. You've done it. 👏 👏 👏 please know how much this helps.

Yeah, it sucks. I had my Bible teacher at a Christian school take me in a room by myself and tell me I had the devil in me just because I didn’t lie and told the other kids I wasn’t saved. My mother believed you had to be baptized to be saved and they didn’t. I was 14 and my dad had just died. I wish I had had proof and taken her to court to lose her teaching license because no telling how many kids she treated that way. Religion takes over people’s minds and they act nuts.

The chorus has such great structure and resolve. I’ve had this stuck in my head for the last week at least, so happy the full song is here ❤️🥳

I grew up without religion in a religious town. I was openly not Christain since a child. I was bullied for it, told my family would go to hell. Kids would scare by telling me the rapture would come- the end of the world. I never understood. Why adults would tell kids this, thinking it would not hurt.

Growing up as catholic turn atheist now i'm just agnostic, this songs encapsulates the questions and issues with how religious people depict God.

I'm so glad that the final version of this was released! When I heard this on Tik Tok I was hoping there would be a full version. Finally, all of us in the ex-Christians/religious trauma community have a song that expresses part of our issues with the faith and its followers.

I love this song it's brought me to tears. It's just relatable.

I come back to this song every few months and it hits me like the first time everytime. The tears that well up are the good kind.

No. But that's how I was indoctrinated for years, and when you grow up intrenched in Christianity and all it does is make you hate yourself is doesn't matter if what they were saying is correct or not the damage is already done.
