This is therapy

This was sooo good I was almost able to forget they were riding road bikes.

Just finished a nice savoury breakfast. Kids have all left for school and the house is still and quiet. The only sounds are the hum of the fridge, and an occasional passing car or two through the window. I slowly drink my morning coffee, cooled slightly now, inhaling the aromas. I enjoy the soft sounds of this hypnotic video on my phone, frequently struggling to stay present in changing images as my memory wanders back to several similar rides that I myself had taken or other visits I had to the same locations. As the video concludes I look outside at the blue warming sky and Felicia (our 12’ skeleton) standing guard on the front lawn. Another car passes. It’s going to be a good day.

Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This a lovely, peaceful, meditative tour. Thank you.

Love these. Am now using them periodically for my "meditation" session between daily tasks.

Typically late March to late April, weather depending. There are lots of sites and guides out there to help find the best spots!
