The Sony 5G Data Transmitter is now available for shipping. Initially announced in March, this device is designed for news agencies, photojournalists, corporate photographers, and other broadcast professionals.
Besides the big game or Olympic events, I can think of another 1/2 dozen uses cases; including reporting on wild fires, sharing photos from remote locations, and adventures like the PCT.
