PD searching for additional suspects in home break in
The Los Angeles Police Department is searching for any additional suspects who were involved in a home break in in Valley Village. The homeowner opened fire on at least one suspect.

Should not be called assault with a deadly weapon, it's self defense, unless the homeowner was assaulted with a deadly weapon by home invaders.

Just by breaking into someone’s house you are in yourself a deadly weapon as a criminal

LAPD doesn’t change the laws. The governor and DA do. L. A. county residents voted it into law. Soooo… that’s what it is now. LAPD can charge him with a home invasion, ultimately it’s up to the LA county DA to charge them with what LAPD originally charged the suspect with. Obviously the DA changed to a lesser charge. So now citizens of L. A. County has to live with these laws.

Glad the homeowners okay and was able to protect himself hopefully they don't try to put him in jail for defending his home or family

911 dispatcher informed that homeowner prior to this incident to hang up run out the back door hop the fence a call from a neighbors house
