Very happy this has helped so many. If anyone has trouble getting the boot off try some silicone spray if you have any on hand.

Helped a lot but I could not remove the hose from the fitting.

When replacing the valve also check the hose for cracks. I had a Crack in my hose by the firewall. Once I swapped out the hose my Girl was back and ready to play.

I found the PCV valve but it isn't twisting out of the boot very easily. Is there something I should do to release the boot without tearing it?

I keep getting a code for it at autozone but I replaced it twice and it still comes up with the check engine light? You have any clues? I have a 2002 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson 5.4 with the supercharger.

Yes. This is not just for the 2002. It’s a quick check and if your hearing similar noise don’t hesitate to look. Same engine should help you locate really fast

Why you didn't change the rubber elbow ?

Scouser Tech Because they told me I need to change the rubber elbow in order to pass the smog check. But it seems it comes attached to the pipe. I think I need to change that whole part, not just the ruber elbow. Thanks for your videos, they help a lot.👍

Tu Muy Bien that makes sense as some SMOG tests can be brutal. Luckily where I live I don’t have to deal with those restrictions
