Jack A wise man once told me that I should not measure my life by the number of breaths I take but by my the moments that take my breath away. This video is the epitome of that. As a Gen Xer I have lived life through the lens of (and I know everyone does) how things were done during my formative years. Mental toughness, hard work, perseverance, gratitude, humility the list goes on. I don't know if you see that but everything I listed I saw and felt through this video and for that first and foremost I want to say thank you. Hands down my favorite episode of the thru hike. It is through real people like you and videos of people's experiences of what life brings you to that never give up attitude will always prevail is very refreshing. Jack, you are good people and thank you again for allowing us to tag along. Eddie

WOW Jack! I’m going to say that I love you and what you’ve done for yourself and for sharing this incredible experience with your family, friends and strangers like me. This has been an incredible experience that’s going to give you a lifetime of memories. I recommend that you watch these videos over and over to hard wire them into your brain or you will forget the small things. I have many hiking and backpacking memories, but only bits and pieces of the details remain after over 50 years. I still remember my first overnight in the San Gabriel Mountains near Mount Baldy, that’s when I saw blue skies without looking through thick smog. I saw so many stars in a black sky. Thank you again Jack, because you’ve gotten me to think about my memories.

So damn EPIC!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I am fired up. I am 62 years old and jut started hiking a few years ago. Been doing day hikes and overnights, pushing myself with lots of vert on our local 9,000 to 10,000 foot peaks, and absolutely loving it. I have always let business and life get in the way before, but I feel now is my time. I have some business dealings wrapping up, and will be going for some serious long distance hikes, and maybe even a PCT thru hike:) Thanks for all the inspiration and again, congratulations on a job well done.

She's just days away from finishing and like you, is sad and happy for it to be done, missing home, worried how she'll cope with the non-trail life and feeling proud (as her family is) that she followed through with her dream and did it. She was an active toddler and walked and walked and never got tired. I'm not surprised at all she managed to walk from Mexico to Canada! I can't wait to have her back home again.

🥳 Congratulations! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 💪🏼 It’s quite an accomplishment. Thank you for taking us on your journey and showing us the trail from your perspective. You have a great eye. You gave us a front row view of what my kiddo was seeing on trail and what he didn’t see because of all the snow in the Sierra and missing a piece of the Northern Cascade Mtns with the fire reroute. It was all really beautiful. My husband and I hiked the 16 miles out and back from Manning Park on 9/11 to celebrate with him at the northern terminus. It was all very exciting. You’ll have to show us your time there. Wishing you all the best. Happy Trails ✌🏼🥾

Outlaw, really great video and ending. I’m proud and stoked for you for finishing this amazing adventure and accomplishment. I took finally finished (took 5 years) this year at Stevens Pass so I know how much this meant for you. Unless someone does one of these hikes they have no idea what you go through and how it affects you internally. It’s slow and you don’t notice it but the further you walk, the more it ingrains into you. You’re never the same and in the best way possible. Great job brotha! I have followed your progress from the beginning and I must say Wilson has blessed us with pure beauty and awe. So few people will ever be able to see it for themself or take in the aroma of trees, the moist soil and the wildlife filling the air with their calls to one another. Thank you & Weatherman and the tramalies names I can’t recall at this moment. I will turn 67 in a couple of weeks and my one and only bucket list left is to hike the PCT for myself. So know this, for all the time it takes to video & edit your trail experience and sharing it with so many people you will never meet, Thank You Outlaw Jack. I thought I saw you start at the southern border, and I don't recognize the end you stopped at as the end of the PCT on the canada side (didn't look the same as other videos) so I'm just confused on the pathing here between videos is all :D Love the work, and thank you for the inspiration!

Hey Lemonpopz! so my hike was a bit confusing no doubt! quick recap for you! Section one: mexico to mulkey pass (about 50 miles into the sierra) Section two: Chester to Dunsmeir CA (still so much snow since we got there quite early) Section three: Canadian border then SOBO all the way back to our original flip at mulkey pass! Hope that clears up some confusion, and thank you so much for your words. Inspiring others means the world to me and was one of my original goals of starting this channel best of luck to whatever adventures you choose to embark on!
