Another great video, beautiful scenery and talking to the animals. Shredded pork, beans with tortillas and a homemade cookie, Starburst you are in your element and must be charmed. Be safe, be alert, and may the trail angels keep their watch over you and your adventure.

One thing we really like about your videos is that you are more about the journey instead of the destination. So many people post videos where they have to be somewhere by this date so they are constantly pushing forward and not taking time to look around and share the scenery with us. Thank you for your videos!

Beautiful scenery,,good to hear you're crossing paths with good people..can't imagine hiking without a stove,,todays' equipment is so small and simple, and you are in direction of cooler to cold climate, a break with a hot drink,(tea or cup of soup, etc.) can be a huge morale booster..thank you for the trail historical info plaque,, lets those of us not there know a little more of the trail system ..appears the foot problem isn't bothering you for now,at least not mentioning...until next video....Stay Safe and God Bless....

If you had a little stove, you could drink hot coffee every day, I need my hot meal, even if it’s just once a day. I hope you’re feeling better and recovering from your foot and hip pain.

I love love love your attitude through this whole trip! I love your sense of responsibility (like with the bear containers), and I love that even when you're not 100% having fun you still look at things from another perspective, last but not least I freaking love your love for nature and your interactions with wildlife! Anyway, been watching for a while and just felt the need to let you know, that you're rad and I'm rooting for ya!

Starburst, you have no clue how cute you were when in your little girl voice said you didn't like discipline...... Could'a hugged you!!! NOW, do you think the Sierras will make it impossible for you to ever walk normal on flat ground again???? Man!! It will be interesting to see how you do on the flat sections of Oregon and Washington!! You'll tear up the trail I think!!!! Thanks again for sharing your trail life with us..... : )

Discipline, motivation and morale are three sides of the same coin, and, to mix metaphors, morale is the leg the others stand on. An army marches on its stomach so I think you need to talk to your quartermaster and ask for better supplies. Cold mashed potatoes; that must get old fast! You've got over to a thousand miles into those legs, so I'm sure you can carry a little more weight in stove, pots and food, and a hot meal at the end of the day will do wonders for your morale.
