i think just for the history books everyone who plays a 300 should be allowed to keep playing till they miss a strike to see what human nature is capable of

One of my friends got a 300 game at our practice and then got a turkey one the first 3 frames of the next game. Not to mention that he’s only 15.

900 series has been achieved, as stated. But that's probably on the same lane.

This might be the 30`th time I`ve seen this match but it is so well played that I will go so far and say Tomme Jones plays the best bowling I have ever seen right here. Two different approaches, two different speeds and balls and so much more. Great bowling by Tommy Jones.

What a terrific match. Tang is young and will go on to a fantastic career in the PBA. Sometimes when you get in these tournaments a player just gets in the zone, and no matter how good you are, it's just impossible to beat them. I bowled professionally for 15 years and let me tell you some in here say it's should be easy to bowl a 300 being a Pro, but believe me it's not easy, it takes a lot of skill, and also the right ball, lane conditions and most important concentration, and some luck :) I had a great career, bowled against some of the best in the world, and loved every minute of it. In fact, i run two bowling centers now, and it's been a pleasure to be part of such a great sport, with so many great people I met along the way. Thank you PBA!!

I really wish we could get a PBA regional member from the Bay Area to talk about the Tang family's *extensive* sandbagging & disrespectful behavior towards other bowlers in Junior Gold qualifying tournaments while they bowled at 4th Street in the early 2010s, if *ANY* of that came out before Darren's first telecast him and his brother would've *NEVER* had a professional career.

My favorite modern day bowler, I was fortunate enough to have him as my pro during the 1st Luci Bonneau tournament. What a great bowler and a very humble man.

At 19:02 Chris said "I hate that you beat me to 20, dude, but what a great way to do it! You are the man! Go enjoy your money!" He said this because Tommy and Chris were actually on a kind of race to see who could get to 20 titles first.

It's been a long time since I watched the PBA but watching this is incredible. The last 300 game I saw on TV was in 1995. The PBA was in Michigan for a tournament that week.

Seen all of his years on ESPN. I wish I caught this match, incredible!

After becoming a bowler this last year and joining a league. The appreciation for the concentration and skill this sport takes is incredible. And it's so much fun. I recommend anyone pick up bowling as a hobby.

I'm bowling next week for the first time in about 10 years - going out with the "dads" at school. I used to average 185 but I'm way out of practice and I also have to use a house ball so as not to look like a show-off etc. bringing my own ball. Will probably score about 120!

何年か前に両手投げのジェイソン・ベルモンテが、相手が投球動作に入ってる時にペットボトルの蓋を開ける音を響かせて、試合中相手にブチ切れされるという事件があったしね。 ブチ切れされたベルモンテは動揺しその試合は負けた。

I remember 5 months ago Tommy Jones just picks up the 300 game I have no clue how is this possible.

Nobody ever believes me when I tell them that I got to do a 2 week clinic with Walter Ray, Norm Duke, Pete Weber when I was a freshman in high school. Our coach was Doug Kent for JV and Varsity teams. Some of the greatest bowling mentors ever.

It’s always nice to see somebody bowl a 300 game. It’s even better when you bowl one yourself. When I bowled my 300 game in 2018 it was emotional and I was nervous because that’s not an easy thing to do.

I never did get my 300. Several 27x's (and a no-tap 300, but that doesn't count). You start getting nervous about 8 or 9 strikes in, and every time you get up to bowl the alley goes quiet. It's definitely an interesting experience. Congrats on your 300.

You're right. It's not easy at all. I never got close to bowling 300. The highest score I ever got was 202.

@@kevinpayton2664 stay focused on that. I told myself on each shot, “this is one shot at a time”. I did catch some lucky breaks during the course of that but I stayed focused and made sure I didn’t get ahead of myself.

the last time I bowled, I was in Job Corps in Astoria, OR in 1992. I never had a 300 game, but I came close, bowled a 298. sadly not only I missed the 300, but ended with the 7-10 split.

My highest was 248 without getting a one spear. I agree it's not easy to get a 300, however I'm still trying and staying positive.

The announcers did actually mention it at 13:17, that there was a $10,000 bonus for a 300. :)
