Lots of thinking outside the box. It also gives them good shot placement. Though it's still more luck based for what the pins do no matter the shot.

I have had a chance to watch a few of your games. When I become a bowling coach, I will be incorporating these in practice, especially this game. It looks like a lot of fun and it’s a great way to work on spares.

That was fun to watch. I've suggested this before. How about 2 or 3 game total with everyone using the exact same 3 balls drilled identically. The way it's drilled is left up to the house driller upper!!!!

Fun as hell to watch. Maybe you could get something like this with the Storm guys elsewhere (obvs not at Brunswick HQ).

Packy, I want you or some KZread bowler to commit to a BIG challenge: use the GSX and become the first tenpin bowler in history to repeatedly set up and eventually convert ALL of the 1023 possible spare combinations. I know it would take a LONG time. It would be a great ongoing KZread video series as you keep cutting into the long list of possible spares and show us some of the most impressive ones. To get the Lily (5-7-10), you are free to use a 6-pound house ball, or whatever would help, as long as you stick with legal shots and equipment. What do you think?

Yea these machines are pretty high tech!

The lanes I bowl at have above ground ball returns and hand scoring lol I’m amazed at the ease of setting up these splits

You could do Team Hook at Spares Or Team Straight at Spares And do a red circle around which one you are

Packy, I need a video only about what kinda adjustments you make as the game plays on and lanes change. And just your thought pattern. Also need to know what your hammer solid layout is!

The thing with adjustments is it differs from bowler to bowler. So what might work for Packy might not work at all for you. An easier fix for that is bowling at lots of different centers and seeing the different reactions and being able to see what your ball or balls do and so you know how to adjust if it is slick of dry.

This was absolutely fantastic. Needs to be a format (except hooking allowed).

The 2 craziest leaves I've seen, both by right handers. I saw the 2-4-7 out of a full rack and also the 3-5-9.

I enjoy the spare shot challenge, especially the tough ones. I'm a pretty straight shot so even my spares I shoot straight for. I've tried rotating my hand to get more hook but I always do it too soon and just can't stop so I just do what works. Bowled a 181, 153, and 185 last night in league which was my best series of the season.

I asked my grandma to record the TV channel so I could watch it when I got home. I was sad that you lost but 17th!? That's awesome! I could never bowl like that, I haven't even bowled above 190 once! I've bowled above 180 4 times.

Idk how much it’ll cost or he’ll even have time, But I’d love to see Belmo and EJ with you guys doing this challenge.

That demo room at Brunswick HQ kicks ass over the room at Storm HQ.

I wish we had that pin setter at the touch of our finger tips. Be a great way to practice spares and a fun way to play horse lol.

I’ve only bowled maybe a dozen times in my life but I have hundreds of hours in Wii bowling and 99% of the time I hook my spares. However, Packey no has me thinking maybe throwing straight for spares might be more beneficial/easier.

Yeah these are good, spares by picking numbers. Def makes a challenge of no hook. I'm thinking on the one turn, one dude only showed two throws, either the 8 or 9 pins challenge

I made the 7-9 split today by making the 7 pin bounce to the bottom of the 9. Pretty cool!

Team hook vs straight is a loaded question. To me, I would rather let the ball do the work. But I'm subject to only one ball then I have to work to not put fingers 😂 into the ball to get the 10 as a right handed shot. I would love to play a different leave across every pair! 18 leaves you 9 shots twice!

great idea, but above 6 pins it just becomes unreal, can never happen, in bowling :) fun to watch though, it sure shows if you can spare

I saw a 1,5,7,10 left yesterday watching JR Raymond livestream. The guy bounced the ball out of the gutter on his first shot and it barely touched the 3 pin while chopping the 6 off the 10 as it flew through the air.

I seen, the rules at the start of the game, me sitting here, and thinking, I hope they remove the head pin, in the 9th, get to the 9th frame, and boy was I happy. This used to be a moonlight challenge shot at the "former" old local center here, I have only seen it picked up 2 times between 2000 and 2016, the center closed in 2021.

Man it’s sad I did think it was great, bowled an unlimited 5 man Swiss this weekend and everyone was watching the toc and it was halarious that not one person I talked to was rooting for Simo or Belmo 😂

I guess with the super slow ball speed and lighter balls this might happen more often! Hopefully you guys pick up more of the spares than we did!! hahaha

Crazy how many times on the shots with the head pin missing that the ball deflected off the 2 pin and went right between the 3 and the 8. I’m curious to see if you were to shoot at just the 2-3-8, or 2-3-5-8, how many times that would happen.

A guy I bowl with stated that there was a bowling game show that used a one-less rack for the grand prize. No one ever could strike on it.

Who knew this would lead to a title for Packy just a few days after!

I hook at my spares. I've never bowled straight in my life.

I shoot spares straight. Eliminates variables from oil

Just a suggestion, but it might be fun to try the same game, but you have to hook at everything.

1-GAME Challenge: Try to leave the 1 pin only in frame 1 , only the 2 pin in frame 2 etc....+20 point bonus when you successfully do it each time. High game wins.

For a 1-2-4-6-10 washout, as a righty, I find throwing a brooklyn covers it easiest. To shoot it this way, just replicate the last time you screwed up and went brooklyn to extend a line of double strikes that made your opponents lose their minds. Whatever that was, do it again.
