i hate how he said “he’s putting up very beatable scores, his opponents are doing nothing against him” stop taking away from his consistency and good bowling. if they were so beatable he wouldnt have won. the dual pattern is tough and he bowled the best. its that simple.

Still, he beat literally two of the best bowlers on Earth, in EJ and Simo, and he did it on dual patterns and a best of 2 format. You can't take anything away from Kevin, and this is coming from a Simo fan.

We have all had these days Jakob where nothing goes right. It happens just an off day. But congrats to McCune. Great job

So impressed by McCune, kept his cool and so well deserved that he won. I feel for Butters, how many times has he lost a major now in the last game, a few times as the no 1 seed.

There are too many to count. I love rewatching old majors and seeing butters in the final, first though is, "oh, I forgot he lost this one too." Kind of like AJ Johnson and titles in general, but at least butters has won majors and events. 😂

Congrats to McCune........one of the rareities of seeing Jakob struggle with the Purple urethane. That ball is normally money. Wonder if he should have tried the Purple solid. Might have gave him a cleaner look.

This kid is built for success. He's gonna be miles above his dad and grandpa. By no means am I being disrespectful, either. Kevin will win 15+ titles. You heard it here first.

He has a lot different temperament than his dad. And he's also developing a lot of versatility.

If this was Highlights . . it would of been like 2 min long and not 20min. .

My suggestion to Buttruff.......apparently you need to practice playing deeper than 3rd arrow as you refused to move further inside than that. You had a HoFer telling you to get deeper and you didnt. If there is one glaring hole in your game that is it. Heck of a run there but something with some pop on the backend from deeper could have been the difference. Congrats to the newest McCune on his first title. Well deserved. Did he even one time go over and hug his parents after the win????

Come on PBA and sponsors, when on TV get these folks some appropriate clothing. Not the same, washed a million times tight fitting sponsored shirts. How about a loose fitting, pressed bowling shirt! Take some pride if you want the sport to grow back to its heyday.

I like McCunes shot but too bad his personality isn't there. Stale potatoe chip. 🥔
