This game made me realize how much Bain had a big part of the Payday franchise. Although they did somewhat of an ok job with the new charachters, its not the same without Bain. Also why Joy of all people has been selected for the 5th crewmen? Why not somebody actually has a cannon existince like Huoston etc.? I hope this game does not flop, we’ve been waiting too long for this…

I just completed it and the last curscene somehow was laggy so im waching this

I would like a you know I said the story for the most part tends to go back to more of the grounded roots and as well as kind of a bit of a Revenge plot for the main antagonist I was kind of expecting the original for and I wasn't expecting Joy to come back this early on I only progress a fair bit of this game but I also like to question a little bit on the second cutscene feels like a bit of an in Universe explanation as to C stacks and as well as the introduction of pearl but I want to get a little particular on the C stacks because is we already have Continental coins from the last game and I mean John Wick is Canon the payday universe although I think probably has something to do with the events of the films ( sorry I haven't seen any of the films yet) and why did Bane or any clients talk about C stacks nice to see some classic Payday 2 characters coming back as well as some of the recent post White House characters including some new ones

They said "President McKendrick", who was a senator during the events of Payday 2. Considering how many years it's been between 2 and 3, I think it's reasonable to assume that president Bain simply retired and left office and McKendrick got elected.

I know i'm like very much being antagonizing this but... i just don't like how... everything is comical, like it feels like i'm reading a comic of how these dialogues are presented, it doesn't feel like payday 2 where info is given through heists and announcers/NPCs. Now anyone who pre ordered on ps5 have to wait out the 3 days early play until Sony releases the correct version. Could be tomorrow, few days to even a week.

@salted9455 I'm comparing a game that came out in 2013 to a game that came out in 2023. Why should we not be able to expect more content than previous entries on launch? The entire point in making a sequel to anything is to BUILD and IMPROVE on the previous game. A good sequel shouldn't be released with the same or less content than before. It shouldn't be released with features missing that have been a staple since the beginning. With 10 years of experience and technology rapidly advancing and now the emergence of AI, there really isn't any excuse for sequels to be lacking behind their predecessors.

It's incredibly polished, we have a brand new deep stealth system, it's finally on a proper modern engine and each heist is completely different to the others. Granted the numerous QOL fuck-ups, baffling design decisions and online-only prevent it from reaching it's full potential on release. But you can't polish a turd and payday 3 is definitely not a turd.
