@shakhakhan2402 - You are so right! It's obvious that gentle, yet wise limits and teaching started right at the beginning, will (usually) turn you into a well-behaved human being. Somehow, many parents now seem to think that sticking a cell phone into a one year old baby's hands is the best education! So now they're entitled, egocentric, impolite, can't spell and have no proper vocabulary. What a great improvement!! O tempora, o mores!

Cats are typically amazing around babies, even if you have a crazy cat, it'll usually realize the baby is delicate and find ways to show boundaries with out hurting them

I love that the cat seemed like it was aware that this was a baby and gave her the lightest little slap to let her know. 🤣🤣🤣

There's nothing perfect about parents actually like violent animals in an attempt to "discipline" children. Hitting children is stupid, lazy and cruel. Statistically you will see a greater prevalence with lower-income, less-educated parents. When a child is acting out, it's not about getting them to stop the behavior but finding out why they're doing it in the first place. Children are people too. Why is it okay to hit a child and a felony to do it to an adult? It's not okay and it is something that traumatizes children. Even if it's a slap and not a punch, children are injured emotionally because their needs are not being addressed.

Maybe for animals without the ability to communicate verbally but this should be seen as evidence that as adults using physical force is acceptable with children.

My cat use to do this to my kids when they walk or run past her. No claws just paws. Its amazing to me that they know that they are kids.

Declawed, nobody would be stupid enough to have a cat around a baby .

I love the looks babies give when they feel like hurt 😂 Its like how dare he touched me come and get him before i scream loud!

And the moral of the story is...parents train your kids to respect boundaries or an animal will do it for you.

Notice how after she pulled on the cat’s fur he swatted her but when she gently pet him, he was okay with it.

No, the fact that this cat swiped at it, even without its claws, that still just shows what a cat is like… They’re little bastards! A cat, any animal should know the difference between an adult and a baby - and this baby wasn’t doing anything but just touching it. The baby didn’t pull, hit, or swat this damn cat… the car should’ve been hit, by the parent.

Why would you as a parent sit and watch your child pull your pets fur? Thank goodness this cat has the patience of Job. When I was an animal control officer I can’t tell you how many animals were surrendered because they finally had enough and scratched or bit.. is that the pets fault? NO, is it the child’s fault? NO… it’s the PARENTS FAULT for not watching their children or teaching them to be kind

Actually yes that is gentle go ahead piss off a cat they will leave you bleeding I have 10 of them and they do everything with me they sleep with me eat watch tv I even play a little rough with the oldest one but he knows we’re playing when he’s playing he will smack my hand away without his claws out but when he doesn’t want to play anymore he gives me a quick tap with claws that’s how I know I’m annoying him the baby wasn’t hurt he just gave her a warning and she learned the second time she petted him very softly

She is back there filming the kid. I'm giving her the benefit of doubt seeing how this would go.. and she did allow the cat to deal with it, hopefully she let the cat deal with it again if need be. Parent, if the kid gets rough or pulls it the cats hair again, please put the camera down & discipline your kid, then continue to enforce respects for the animal... then again the cat has got this, Allow the cat to get a Little rougher if need be to be consistent with the kid and show her NO MEANS NO. Sometime animals doing what they do is better then what us humans do, but the cat knows the kid is respected too because she didn't claw the kids eyes outs the first time. She hit her as she would hit her own baby kitten.

Not payback. It’s a natural lesson. You treat people with respect, you touch them the wrong way you’ll get smacked as a warning. Now touch them right. That’s a smart baby at the end.

Reminds me of my old cat, he was so smart🙊 when we had guests over with little kids he did this if they crossed the line (pulled his tail etc.), no claws, just a gentle bean slap... also if i used my hand to play with him under a blanket, first he might have used his claws and teeth but the second he felt/saw bare skin he retracted his claws and his "biting" was more of a just putting my hand in his mouth but not biting🙊

У меня сын кусался когда был маленький. Ему было 1,5 года. Всегда говорила нельзя кусаться, он всё равно кусался. Я не знала что делать. Взяла его руку и легко зубами сжала его мягкое место на руке, до тех пор, пока он не почувствовал боль, и его лицо изменилось от боли. Больше он не кусался.
