I like the idea of skill loss when you die , like 25% loss on all skills when killed in PVP

Yes, there are places to get pure iron outside of the pvp zone. It is just not as plentiful. High risk, high reward.
Here's the real war: religion vs. pagan practices/healing. Religion claims "miracles" and that you can't have a miracle without God. Pagan healing practices are based on herbs (and science before science was a thing.) Think about that for a minute ...
