    @@jasonmichael3676 Screw Rick, First of all no auction take 25%, thats just insane. Second of all, the guy could have sold it himself and made double what Rick paid him for it anyways. That thing could easily go to a collector for $30-50K, not some lowballing pawn shop

    This is America, nobody cares how you’re doing. “How are you” means “hi”... but seriously, this reminds me: back when I was in high school we had a convention for the sports captains and the speaker was Jud Buechler, who played for the Chicago Bulls at the time. They played us this video about a kid that transferred from Europe and when people would ask “how you doing?” he’d start to actually answer and get weird looks. The video was about leadership and taking the time to talk to people.

    it's meant to be a sort of "excuse" that Rick gives most of the time so he can lowball a decent seller like the scoundrel he is. It's really pathetic if you ask me because with all of the traction and publicity Pawn Stars gets worldwide we all know he has the capacity to sell most of his stuff within easily a few days at most, this is by the way on top of the millions he rakes in from producing the TV Show, which always seems to be overlooked.

    Yeah you could tell this seller had a good business sense and etiquette. It's rare on this show and even in these KZread comments where everyone calls the offers "low balling"

    Well, he is the CEO of IMA which Ungodly overprices garbage but when they do have good stuff (not repro's) it is indeed quality and researched properly so I would have no doubt as to him being a good expert.

    Wouldn’t have took less than $20,000. Rick wouldn’t have let it go knowing he might get $30,000 or even more. I reckon it was worth more myself to a collector. It was numbered too.

    @@jaahasjaahas8729 pawn shops in the States have to hold all items for a month in case the stuff is stolen. Police have 30 days to locate them
