All Cory knows about Dale is, "you don't get a nickname like the intimidator for no reason"
I love how Grad loves to 'overdefine' things. "You know, this is a jumpsuit, so you have two holes right here for the legs, a hole for each of the arms, and a space on top where your head comes out. Then you have pockets - these are little flaps sewn into the jumpsuit where you can store things..."

Gotta share the episode to a good friend of mine, really interesting 🎉
100k is a lot of money for any racing suit, even for a top driver like Earnhardt - part of the problem is that there are a LOT of racing suits - he won 76 races (and retired a suit after he won) - plus numerous other suits.
@jamesrawlins735
4 жыл бұрын
@joey b 77 of an item when your dealing with collectibles is a large number as far as value. If there were only 1 or 2 or 3 suits you might get near that amount. There just aren't enough collectors willing to spend 100k on a racing suit, even one from Sr. There are actually more than 77 suits, that's just the ones that were retired after a win. I'm guessing you might have double that or more if you included every suit he owned. Now, if it was his very first suit signed by him, or one he used when he won Daytona, the value would go up considerably. (The same thing applies in Europe for the top Formula One & Grand Prix drivers - Michael Schumacher is idolized as much or more there - none of their suits brings 100k at auction). I will admit, as an aside, that I never grew up idolizing Dale Sr. I was a huge The King fan; I grew to admire Sr. after he passed away. Same thing with Jimmie Johnson, because I was a big Jeff Gordon fan - and now I'm sad I didnt appreciate Jimmie when he was the best
