Another great update on the Pico Pavo. Defective ND filter, at least it was an easy fix. Also the camera placement per your og post, magic fix. At least it's ok now. Sorry to hear about all the haters. Great review as always Albert!!!!

Ha ha ha. There always be those who "hate," for whatever reason. I've been watching you for quite a while and your info/opinions have been "SOLID." Thanks for the update on this quad. I've been eyeing it recently, perhaps I'll wait and see what comes out in the next little while. While some prefer to "talk about the issue" instead of, taking the time to try and fix/solve/improve the issue, which you have done. Thanks Albert.

There are fanboys of certain companies and any review that isn't 100% positive gets reported and they try to get companies to stop sending products to them for review. I got frozen out from GEPRC in this way I suspect. I no longer get any GEPRC drones to review. Only the positive review channels get them now. LOL.

Everyone has different views on products, but the best thing about you Albert is your honest analysis that is not diluted to please the masses. Your website and videos really helps us to make buying decisions and I hope you never change❤

I found that mounting the camera on the top holes doesn't give a lot of clearance between where the cable goes into the camera and the frame of the drone which could potentially lead to vibrations. More than likely if you have it in the top holes, the cable is pressing on the carbon fiber frame directly where it goes into the camera. If the intent is to isolate the camera system from the drone, you would have to find a way to keep the cable from coming into contact with the frame. Not wanting to add any weight to it, I opted to use the bottom holes. It seems the frame offers slightly more "bracing" this way and the cable is clear of the frame.

Honestly, those haters have to be at a low on life because there was nothing to be mad about😂. I love that you point out the negative of the products you review. It gives me a better idea about what I’m buying. Keep it up!

Which longer screws do you use?

I ended up using the trick we used to do to soft mount KISS FCs back in the day and added a m2 rubber o-ring on each side sandwiched between the cam and the cage just like you did (altho I was able to still use the stock screws, just had to crank down nice and tight, worked perfectly and basically eliminated all jello

Here are my findings.. and this is a BIG one.. the cage that holds the air unit is highly susceptible to harmonic oscillations from the drone itself.. i added a piece of cardboard between the air unit and the cage to re-tune the cage and the harmonic "jello" went away. the cage is acting like a tuning fork from the normal vibrations of the drone props and motors....either way you cant beat this little guy for $100 if you have an air unit already laying around.. its just plug and fly.. easiest drone ive ever put together..

Actually my UV filter from flywoo had the same issue as the one in this video. To fix it I just pushed really hard on the lense to get the glass to stick better.

Dude. I installed my camera butter ND filter today and noticed a difference as well. I wonder if my lense was an issue as well. Good catch!

This is a frame that I’m interested in and have been watching your progress with it. It’s too bad that haters can’t appreciate the valuable advice and insight given in the video to take what seems like a well thought concept by beta fpv into something that actually works well with your tips. I’m not buying it yet but I will be following this series as there’s always something to learn that can also be applied to situations with other quads. Good work, AK!

Thanks. I just present my findings without any fluff but seems like some people really don't like it. Some companies like GEPRC really don't like this approach and stopped sending me their new drones. Apparently GEPRC only likes positive reviews.

I broke the one it was in for the final time the other day and I’m looking for a new freestyle type frame to put everything in. I can probably only go to 3” props huh?

Just twist it off. I use needle nose pliers to grab the plastic hub easier.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. I did try five sets of props. That was the first thing I tried. The cause of the jello was the UV filter.

Even the positive reviewers have noticeable jello in their flight footage, yet they said there's none. What a crazy Betafpv simps. I bought the BNF too. Thanks for your finding and video.

Yeah, this is becoming sad. If reviews are not 100% positive and sell out, the companies might stop sending products to review. I've been frozen out from companies like GEPRC and others because I present factual findings and not gushing positivity. Just notice who gets stuff and who is not... FPV companies are doing crap like that now. I suspect eventually I'll get frozen out from every company with this honest approach. Apparently honest channels all eventually die this way. Sigh... 😅

@@mikeb1596 They only send their stuff to shill channels. Really sad. Albert's provided good feedback to them in previous reviews to help them improve their products and they repay him by banning him. I won't ever buy another GEPRC product again.
