While Mabutho riuns for his life, he got Paulina to do the same and take baby Thato with her but when they come across Charlie and he refuses to be part of their plan. On the other side, the Mokoenas put two and two together and figures that it's Paulina who's behind it all but they are too late to the scene.

Paulina has been through the mostest, thanks to The River writers ✍ and producers. Thank you Tango Ncetezo for breathing life into such a graceful character. * sigh * *_Look, while I am confident that you can give the Characters Paulina, Kabzela, and Flora some amazing ranges in their character development and the Actor will just KILL IT...I am sick and tired of them being the ONLY characters who have to accept responsibility for themselves without major support, all this just to prop other cast members_* The Mokoena's, Mokoena-adj characters (Angelina/Charlie), and Hlophe's get to have a "victim pass" Look at Bukhosi, he is always doing the absolute MOST, yet viewers are swearing up and down that _"Lindiwe is always winning"_
No one can blame her. She's obviously in pain
