I was at this. Great concert. Started with Tin Soldier as a tribute to Steve Marriott who had tragically died the day before if I recall. Some new stuff some old. Was a blast

It would be amazing if this got a live release. Such great performances and cool arrangements. I love how jazzy things are.

Huge thanks for posting. Haven’t seen this in ages. SO telling that he opens w a cover, then tip toes to a TSC song, then into a new tune. Nervous energy, not quite sure where he’s going, but working it all out on stage.

Thank you! This is fantastic! The starting years of Paul Weller's solo career. A few good hits from The Style Council and The Jam to help fill out the setlist. There were many years over the decades after this where he didn't play any Council or Jam songs on tours at all which I thought was odd. Didn't know if he wanted to leave it behind for new material or if there were bad feelings with his former bandmates making him not want to do it.

Henry Thomas on bass. Didn’t he used to do the tv show Rock School with Deirdre Cartwright. I think it used to be on BBC2
