John Calvin's institutes are hidden in your heart as it is in all Reformed 5-point Calvinist pastors! This is his salvation: "God arranges all things by his sovereign counsel, in such a way that individuals are born, who are doomed from the womb to certain death and are to glorify him by their destruction.( John Calvin Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 23, Paragraph 6) and if that doesn't instill enough hope I will quote some more. “…salvation is freely offered to some while others are barred from access to it.” (John Calvin, Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 21, Paragraph 5) Hey Mr Washer this is making people into Atheists! I'll try one more time with this. “We call predestination God’s eternal decree, by which he compacted with himself what he willed to become of each man. For all are not created in equal condition; rather, eternal life is fore-ordained for some, eternal damnation for others.” (John Calvin, Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 21, Paragraph 5) Ok I give up leading anyone to the Calvinist lord! No one likes the Institutes of John Calvin for some reason! On second thought why don't I quote one of your Reformed 5-Point Calvinist colleges John Piper. Surely they will see the beautiful, loving, compassionate religion you two preach. God . . . brings about all things in accordance with his will. In other words, it isn’t just that God manages to turn the evil aspects of our world to good for those who love him; it is rather that he himself brings about these evil aspects for his glory (see Ex. 9:13-16; John 9:3) and his people’s good (see Heb. 12:3-11; James 1:2-4). This includes-as incredible and as unacceptable as it may currently seem-God’s having even brought about the Nazis’ brutality at Birkenau and Auschwitz as well as the terrible killings of Dennis Rader and even the sexual abuse of a young child . . . Ok, that part about god sending people to abuse children and god setting up the Nazi gas chambers has even me repulsed as well. Mr Washer you did say your representing the God of the Bible? Aren't you? Because it sounds like you are promoting the Devil's Character and his hate all along. Truth in love

Mat 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Mat 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Mat 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Sounds like a very narrow idea of what prayer is… prayer is all we do. Now if it’s just condemning how he sees prayer meetings go then ok whatever but man is there so much more to prayer than just “gossip”

Bless you heart, Paul. Is there ANYTHING you won't condemn? I mean, I believe your a brother in Christ, but, crying-out-loud, once in a while try to find something whereby to encourage people. I've yet to hear you share a message that doesn't hammer your audience.
