    + @JesusIsGOD Does it say what? Can you cite me ONE example of ANY Christian EVER being baptized in the nameS of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - and I KNOW your argument - I was a oneness pastor for years. The FACT remains - the ONLY name EVER that anyone was EVER baptized into was JESUS - NEVER the Father, Son and HOLY Spirit. The ONLY person with whom we can identify with burial are resurrection is NOT the Father, NOR the HOLY Spirit - ONLY Jesus. So why the confusion?

And lastly you would agree that Jesus is the fullfilment of the laws right... I agree about John Macarthur not being all right with his teaching true but I've followed him and hes one preacher who goes to any channel discussion and would share the gospel of how true the bible is Jesus is Lord and the only way to salvation he preaches the Bible gospel and not by our works we are saved by by his grace we are this is the gospel.. Yes we all have opinions on other stuff with regards to bible but above all that confusion pray about it pray for John Macarthur not be the kind of Christian who calls name and judge which sadly you are with alot of words... John Macarthur tlak of Christ in Larry's King channel with Ben shapiro you can chekc them. Out he's sharing the gospel to them he's strong with his faith in Christ... I've seen some errors in some of his point let's not pull him down with any mean words Christ wouldn't do that don't you think but let's pray for him that God shows him and continues to use him and clears his mind from errors... Paul said we need one another supporting each other... Why?? For this very reason.. But kindly brother refrain from name calling

    +@geda life You are a raving lunatic and a blatant opponent to BIBLICAL Christianity. NOT a single gentile in the NT EVER observed the Sabbath - NOR did they for 1800 years following the resurrection. EVERY reference in Church History to the day of assembly - in to the FIRST day of the week - in FACT about 150 AD the church taught that CHRISTIANS should WORK on the Sabbath to SHOW they were NOT part of the Jewish faith. YOU ignore history, corrupt the BIBLE and push laws that GOD set aside at Calvary - JUST so you can attempt a WORKS-based salvation depending on the keeping of the law. When you reinstate the sactifices then you can begin again to observe sabbath - they are linked. NO ONE observed Sabbath BEFORE Sinai and NO ONE Observed it AFTER Calvary - who are YOU to mock the apostles and call them liars? Read Acts 15 and find the Sabbath there - that is ALL you need to know. "John Mac is a COMPROMISER. He is part of the 99% of Christian preachers who do not even support ALL 10 commandments. Neither did any apostle War is your point? " I dare you to ask him! It is on RECORD in his sermons."" HE is HONEST in that respect - he follows the SCRIPTURES. " He like most Protestants & ALL Catholic preachers INVALIDATE the 4th/SABBATH commandment." IT was invalidated by CHRIST and the apostles - NO BIBLICAL Christian observes the sabbath. " This commandment gets more EXPOSURE in the 4 gospels than ALL the other 9 PUT TOGETHER!!" Again you are terribly CONFUSED. UP to Calvary meticulous keeping of the LAW was important; that law was done away with - FULFILLED at Calvary - and NOTHING from the law survived the tearing of the veil in the temple. Read Acts 15 to see what DID survive . . . " JESUS, HOLY SPIRIT, and gospel authors are MOCKED-INSULTED-BASHED by John Mac and the NEO-Pharisee anti-JESUS mob like him." While I would LOVE to agree with you - it is NOT about the Sabbath - ON THAT front they are 100% orthodox and BIBLICAL. And you are a liar. "" So many church goers are GULLIBLE GALATIANS GOONS WHO ARE VICTIMS OF ANTI-NOMIAN HERESIES FROM John AND THE law TRASHING PREACHERS! " Again you show your Biblical illiteracy and spiritual IGNORANCE. Keep ONE day - keep NO days - all the same to GOD, according to Paul. The Sabbath was 100% Jewish and had NO influence or effect on a single gentile in the NT - your CULT has deceived you. "Follow JESUS & live or John and DIE!!!" Following the sabbath can lead to hell - we are NOT saved by WORKS - but by faith in the finished work of Christ on the CROSS - and no keeping of the sabbath can add or subtract from ones salvation. Its utterly IRRELEVANT to any gentile or Jew in the NT era. The GENTILES were not even ALLOWED in any place of Sabbath worship - again your IGNORANCE overwhelms your possible Biblical knowledge. I can provide you Dozens and dozens of writing from the very early church that not ONLY DENIED sabbath worship but attacked it. IF you want to be TRULY spiritually knowledgeable and NOT the victim of a false cult.

Deuteronomy 8:3: " man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord." This world of ours is more evil and wicked than it's ever been. Not only does the world condone immoral practices and abominable lifestyle choices, this world actually parades and celebrates sin. How dare we. Colossians 3:6 - Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience. The increase in the temptations and sins of this world will cause many Christians to backslide in their hearts and lose their love for God and His holiness. Matthew 24:12 - There will be such an increase of sin and lawlessness that those whose hearts once burned with passion for God and others will grow cold. But regardless of how modern this world gets and how fashionable it becomes to sin so openly and wickedly, God never changes and will judge sin in His holy wrath. Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

The road above is hard, we stumbled, we fail, but God does not, and gives us strength to carry-on climbing the mountains with faith and on through the valleys of sadness, sorrow and death. Forever Blessed be the Lord, our God. Pray always for righteousness in our friends and enemies who curse us.

    @@heathers4961 No, he does not preach this. He was put on the spot during a live Q&A, and it was 40 years ago. It was a "would if" question. "IF" someone took the mark and then repented would they be saved. And he said, "yes". I agree with this because God would never send a true believer to hell. But this was a "would if" question because the bible say's, "No Elect will take the mark." (Read Rev. 13:8) In other revelation verses it also say's no one repents. The only reason why no one is saved after taking the mark is because no one repents, not because they are turned down after doing so. No one actually asks for forgiveness after they take the Mark. Go listen to every sermon of his on the Mark of the Beast. You will see that he does not preach to anyone about being saved after taking the Mark. Every sermon on the topic teaches that you shouldn't take it, you will got to hell if you take it, and that no one repents. The bible say's the same thing about every sin. It say's all who lie, get drunk, steal, rape murder, etc.. go to hell. Yet we know we can be forgiven for these things right? John MacArthur is the very best. I've never found anyone better. I thank God for him!! Shalom

  • @heathers4961

    @heathers4961

    @@cannotbeshaken7889Thank you for responding. Scripture is clear that anyone who takes the mark is damned. We shouldn't drift into what if territory because thats where satan lays his traps. The bible doesn't say that a person can be forgiven and that's the end of it, regardless of what if scenarios. In addition to that, JMAC teaches that the blood of Christ doesn't save and only his death saves. This is heresy, possibly even damnable heresy. The bible clearly demonstrates the saving power of the blood of Christ. I can't link anything, but a KZread search of John MacArthur blood of Christ should bring it up. I strongly encourage you to listen very carefully to his own comments and compare it directly to scripture and ask God to show you the truth before making up your mind to defend him. I am sharing this in love. Revelation 13:8 does not say no elect will take the mark. That phrase is nowhere in scripture. Beware. The elect can be deceived.

  • @cannotbeshaken7889

    @cannotbeshaken7889

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@heathers4961 Scripture also say's the same exact thing about all sins. The person who asked John MacArthur a question, asked him a "would if" question. So he responded the best he could to a "would if" question. And I agree with what he said. God would never send a true believer to hell. Rev. 13:8 says everyone who's name has not been written in the Lambs book of life will worship the beast." So if your name is written in the Lambs book of life, then you will not worship the beast. How could you take that any other way? John MacArthur most certainly believes the blood of Christ saves. It was the loss of his blood that caused his death and therefor is what saved us. But he was getting more technical with the verse, in saying it was his death that saved, not his blood. Which is correct. In other words, had Jesus just cut himself, and wiped his blood on some wood and then walked away alive, we would not have been saved. Our salvation came from his death, not just some of his blood. He did not just shed blood for our sins, he died for our sins. The elect cannot be deceived. Here is just ONE example out of many. Matthew 24:24 "For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." "IF POSSIBLE" even the elect. This means it's not possible. The elect are current Christians, and those who become Christians in the future. God's elect are those who get saved. Otherwise He wouldn't be calling them His elect. How does one get saved if they are deceived? And why in the world would God want to deceive a true believer? It's not a game, or a sport, as if only the smart can be saved. And it's not about Luck. It's about if you truly believe. Once you believe the Holy Spirit enters inside of you. Are you underestimating the power of the Holy Spirit and what it does? Revelation show's the Holy Spirit helping Christians to go through with being Martyred. The Holy Spirit is what helps you to do the right thing, giving you the desire to please God. A Christian will know what the mark is, and will know not to take it. It will be crystal clear just from all the prophesies lining up with it.

    Again, what make you think that in "Knowing the word and preaching the word" is not inplicitly included the great two commandments? John 17:3 says: ...And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.... Firstly, knowing God is equivalent to have Eternal Life (note that "know" here in the greek not only means to know about, but to love or have an intimate relationship with). Secondly, preaching the word of God (word = Holy Scriptures/Christ Jesus) to every creature is an irrefutable evidence that you love your neighbour as you yourself. Blessings ☺🙌

    Sharing the gospel with your neighbors is the single greatest act of love you could possibly show them. You can't just live a certain way and hope that one day they get curious and ask what it's all about, What happens if they die in a car crash tomorrow and no one told them the gospel because they were just content to "live it out first hand" and wait for them to ask about it? And part of loving God is obeying his word, and we're told over and over in the Bible to go out and share the gospel and create disciples.

Scriptures like Mark 16:17-18; James 5:14; and essentially much of Jesus' ministry and the Church's ministry in Acts, are highly permeated with the miraculous demonstration of the Power of God. His material pretty much all originates in the 16th-century or with Augustine through the turn of the 4th - 5th centuries. Sometimes he is centuries apart from the original understanding and practice of the Scriptures, and sometimes millennia. But then again, Luther made it into the textbooks of seminaries, so it wouldn't be especially surprising if Hitler or anyone else could make it as well. Theology has, for the most part, an unmitigated record of disastrous fruits. Matt. 7; Matt. 23. There is a useful book put out by the Amish / Mennonites called, _Will the Theologians Please Sit Down_ . It is a good reality check.

Oh, make yourself accountable to other brothers and sisters and submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Sorry I didn't endorse another preacher, but I don't see people becoming Christlike through great preaching, but only through the grace that is given by God and through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Paul is a very good preacher and I respect him that much, but I have to say that he assumes that John MacArthur's statement is fallen short, when de-facto, he hammered the nail all the way down. Now you ask me: what do you mean by that, fellow? Well, I mean that "Know the word and preach the word" is the essence of Christianity, and the one element that Paul added to complete the statement (to live the word) is implicitly included in the package when John M. stated "Know the word". In other words, Know the word means to be instructed in the word and to have an intimate relationship with the word, which is Christ himself, taking in account that we are complete in Christ Jesus. Obviously the answer is yes and no, not no Yes we are always saved, the question is whether or not we will have the chance to run fast enough away from God after tasting the goodness, or if no man will do what Lucifer did, which was to rebel to the point of insanity

    Sione Fuahala faith produces obedience. You really can’t separate the two. The reason why folks are compelled to say this is they dont’ see the fruit of righteousness being produced. The issue is that you dont’ believe that God’s grace is sufficient and in some way you need to make up for it. You have a faith problem. Fix that and you’ll see the fruit of righteousness that you already possess in Christ

The pre-trib rapture doctrine he teaches didn't sound right to me anymore. I asked the Lord if it were true...and He showed me what the truth was, it's not. Even understanding what I did about him teaching many false doctrines it shocked me when he said that you can receive the mark and still be saved. The word couldn't be more plain speaking...if you take the mark it's the lake of fire.
