Paul Simon is a very wise man.

I love this song. And as the song is coming to its end, the music takes an upbeat tone, the perfect sendoff. It was just like that for me. Every time.

Well to be fair, it's the original version written by Paul for his album. Since the lyrics are his personal sentiments and the music is his genius, every other version will pale in comparison.

Many years before I heard of ambivalent attachment, I heard this! Profound psychological insight from Rhymin' Simon.
