Growing up as S&G fan, Bridge Over Troubled Water was the very first album I bought. Therefore I'm very selective of which can truly cover this classic song. Tommy is on the top of that list.

Great reaction!🤘 This song gives me chills every time I hear it, not matter who's singing it. It's a true masterpiece from Simon/Garfunkel. I love Tommy's version but I also enjoy the Disturbed version. And of course, the original, witch I actually learned to play on a flute!😄 Fun fact, Joakim Broden from Sabaton actually said in an interview that this song is a great example of a 10/10 song. At the same time he said that he's still waiting for the moment when he gets to write a 10/10 song... I don't get it.. He's already been doing so for years... 🤔

I think I prefer Tommy's version over the Disturbed version.

They are quite similar and I assume Tommy is inspired by Disturbed. Actually I prefer both. Both are fantastic. Tommy is a more versatile singer, but David has a more gritty voice, even though Tommy managed to get some grit in his performance. David also seemed more relaxed while singing it. But, Tommy never look fully relaxed. He likes to connect with the camera and is never just in his own zone. Different personalities.

@@rolandkarlsson7072 I agree both versions are fantastic, but I'm finding as I get older, I'm preferring cleaner vocals over more gravelly singing styles generally. I do have some exceptions to this rule though - I love the vocals from both Nempohila and Hanabie.

I think you can call it a cover on a cover almost after the cover the group Disturbed did on this amazing song. Tommy did it really great and he is a fantastic musician and singer.

Tommy give always good feelings to his fans, he is a mega great singer, and thank u that you show his talent to other ppl❤❤
