It's sad what became of this once great band. When Drake, Fang, and Smitty departed, the Raiders never would repeat the glory days.

Nothing sad about it at all. I saw the band in their prime in the 60s and they were great. The band in this video is made up of incredible musicians and entertainers. Most of them have been together for many years. The band really kicked ass. Paul was a fantastic showman and a good guy. He is truly missed along with Drake and Smitty. Mark and Phil are still on this earth. This version of the band was worth seeing. They were entertaining and true to the music.

They were a top show in El Dorado, Arkansas in the late 60’s. Everyone loved them, their music is great.

Was too young at the time to know what was going on, but 2013 flower power festival in Disney saw him preform one of his last concerts, just now realizing how much of an icon he really was

The line up in this video is : Darren Dowler (lead vocals), Ron Foos (bass and a Raider since 1975), Doug Heath (guitar and a Raider since 1973), Danny Krause (keyboards and a Raider since 1978), and Tommy Scheckel (drums and yes, he is awesome).

What happened to music? Everything today is so unhappy and dark. Maybe rock n roll needs to go back to feeling good and showing it. Happy always works with me and I bet with others too! Life is short...smile and be thankful for the youthful times. Feel good music rules Daddio!

Time takes its toll on our music. Nevertheless the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra journeys on. Fellow retirees: we must learn it’s left to others to continue the music. Just do the math. Our bands are down to one, two, or zero original members. Now it’s who owns the name and:or tribute bands. Imposters is another story. Peace.

Mark hasn't been with the Raiders for years. Their singer now is Darren Dowler. He's sung with The Righteous Brothers, Fifth Dimension, The Jordanaires, The Beach Boys, and many others. He was the original lead guitarist for The Backstreet Boys, and was inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004. Blows Lindsay off the stage, imho!

Your opinion only, millions would say Mark Lindsay was the heart and soul of the Raiders and Paul was a true showman. Great garage band that belongs in the HoF. But HoF is a click. The Raiders had away of making you feel good and proud to be a young rock and roller American.
