Floor break/blast specific, but instead of ending a combo with demo man, you can use WR2 for another bound on those stages. Iirc it also nets like 1-2 more damage on normal stages (also not near a wall) if you’re like me and can’t consistently get blue spark demo man after a bound

this vid is fire, I really enjoy this style of guide. It's super efficient: pure information, no downtime, and you provided reasons and use cases for why the key moves are actually the key moves to begin with. You're right also in that we don't always need something super exhaustive like blasted salami's steve guide from tekken 7, as nice as that kind of thing can be in many cases. Just show the good shit and let the player build their plan from the pieces they were given. Thanks for taking the time to make it bro

Good stuff, notations could be made a bit longer, for a second or two maybe Maybe excessive but mentioning ground game could be useful, since some newbies and occasionally intermediates dont know what to press against grounded opponent that chooses to stay down

I hope to see more character guides. It goes straight to the point about the key moves , how to use them, frame data and some combo along with the launchers.

This was the first Tekken that I decided to really use Paul. Thank you for your efforts in making this.

Great tip for df4 is that on counter hit it guarentees f2 for heat engage, and when in heat it grants a full launcher

Literally the first combo at 3:44 is my go-to staple. But I didn’t know that after b3 -> 3, 2 you could get 3, 2, b, 1+2. I always used b1, 2 but I’ll have to try that one out instead Edit: And the tip about iWS moves is also something I’ll look to add to my gameplay

Dude what a goated Paul core guide, literally just decided to pick him up and learn him, one thing though is that with his tornado how do you get from 3,4 backsway into his backsway 1+2 so fast, I can’t seem to hit it on some combos like anything with 3,4 3,4 bs 1+2 it just don’t go fast enough, any tips would help

After QCB3+4, it's better to do qcf1, 4, df4, dash into demoman. It's 2 more dmg. Also for low parry.

DB1+2 into Death Fist has some tricky timing.

your df1 loop is hard for no reason, you can just press df1 b and then just df1 as a move from stance. It needs some timing but you can do any move after df1 like that

Excellent video but my problem is that I can never read frames close enough to punish properly.

I'm picking up Paul, really enjoy him feel like a break from all the execution with mishimas ( I can't electric consistently tho :( ) but for paul's guaranteed death punch on moves like BF 1 or DB 1+2 what's the timing for the death punch guarantee after? on practice I'm missing it a lot. thank you sir!

Nice guide but you can cancel df1 in another df1 without up. You can cancel back sway after df1 (and 3,2b) with any moves that uses db, df, ub and uf input i thinks that is worth to mention :)

I'm pretty new to Tekken and have a question.. In the video, it says DF3 give a free B12 on a counter hit. I'm just curious how this works. Does it give more + frames when it's counter hit? I think B12 has 12 startup frames and DF3 is +8 frames on hit.

you can access heat by pressing the button or landing a heat engager.. the combo which is done by heat dash is only possible when you're in heat

I think It s not more possible spam the elbow Launcher with Paul...i guess they reduce the hitbox

This is great but Paul has a full throw game and you didn't mention anything about it! His throws give some great depth for side swapping and mixing people up.

Any tips for multiple qcf 1 elbow. Frames are so tight can't get 2, let alone 4. (Using pad)

Might be nice to mute ingame music and just play a continuous Tekken track in the background so there isn't as much chopping of the music, sounded pretty jarring especially on Descent into Subconscious. Good video brother!
