About The Show:
Only months into their marriage, Jamie (Helen Hunt) and Paul (Paul Reiser) Buchman already find themselves struggling to establish the ground rules for a life together in their Greenwich Village apartment. Charming and creative, documentary filmmaker Paul is also cautious and analytical, while up-and-coming public relations executive Jamie is a freer spirit, although one who harbors her own share of anxieties. Along with Jamie's luckless sister Lisa (Anne Ramsay), Paul's bachelor cousin Ira (John Pankow), and their close friends Dr. Mark Devanow (Richard Kind) and his wife Fran (Leila Kenzle), the Buchmans approach their life together with honesty, charm and humor in the face of the challenges posed by demanding careers, meddling families, former lovers, well-meaning friends and even their dog, Murray.

The only episode that had a remote chance of being funny. This show is awful.
This episode and the one with their 60s fever dream were some weird episodes for the time they were released lol Jerry Lewis feeding Steve Wright cookies is one of the best sitcom scenes ever!

You'd be surprised at the number of famous comedians who appeared on the show--and I mean classics.
So they live in Greenwich Village. The thing is that the outside shots of the building look nothing like the apartment building on this corner.

LOL 😂, because of the Writers or because you don’t have a girlfriend that loves you? This show was before you new generation people that marry your jobs and cellphones; and currently marrying your dogs and cats.
The only way this series maintained the viewerships interest is by constantly bringing in old retired and sometimes forgotten about TV/movie stars.
