Paul Kelly is a huge part of the understanding I have of the culture here in Australia. This undeniable modern poet, speaks a beautiful, simple truth, honest and with humility. We live in a changing and pan global society now which is exciting, and welcomed, but for me there is something about Paul Kelly that remains inherently Australian. As a young man he has acted as an anchor for me, reminding me of where I come from and the beauty simple words and melodies can hold. Thank you Paul.

Unlike many artists, Paul's quality voice has never changed, he still sounds exactly the same as he did many moons ago. "What an artist ! "

Definitely a show-stopper! I'm a huge PK fan, and this live band is one of the best he put together (though I miss the Messengers). I don't always find the live reworkings of his songs very convincing. But I love the lyrical and other acrobatics he pulls off here!

Wow Carl Barron is a good singer

I'm still doing dumb things. I had to report to my local court house the other day for jury duty. At 9.35 am I went through the security check point and proceeded to hang about to enter one of the court rooms. The security guards were looking at me in a suspicious and nervous kind of way and then one of them approached me and asked if he could help me. I told him I was there to report for jury duty and then checked my phone again for the information text I received from the Sheriff's office regarding the jury duty. It said I was required to attend the court house 15 minutes before the start of trial...at TWO PM. 😁 ( I guess I confused it with the paper mail I received from the Sheriff's office which said I was to be at the court house by 9.45 am for the induction the PREVIOUS day... which I did attend and at the correct time. I just assumed the actual trial was going to be around the same time as well and I never bothered to check the Sheriff's text message properly as well. 🙄 ). Yep. I do dumb things...

I want to take my woman to a bar and dance the night away to this.
