I moved to Queensland in 2018 from the U.K. and this song will always remind me of my first Christmas on the beach in the sunshine. One of the best songs of all time. The very meaning of the word iconic ❤️🇦🇺

Yes...but looked a bit contrived to me. Nevertheless, love Paul...but seemed as if the video was aimed at the dreaded MAFS demographic.

Just got back from the final gig of the Making Gravy tour here in Brisvegas and I was amazed at how many of his lyrics were known by the crowd. It almost felt like church with everyone singing along. For the Canadians out there if I said Paul Kelly is our Hip you get the idea.

Many years back I saw Paul Kelly a few times. My favourite was at The State Theatre. I was only a few rows from the front and right in the middle. I didn't just experience it...I absorbed the whole performance. Still gives me chills.

The best thing about this clip is the young people enjoying wholesome music!:-)

Every Australian should know the words to this song! And for Citizenship Ceremonies, on top of the National Anthem and Waltzing Mathilda, new citizens should belt this out with that much joy those young kids did in that concert.
