I love how they both got misty-eyed when they referred to one another during their speeches.

2-time Lady Byng winner (League's Most Gentlemanly Player combined with a high-standard of play). A nice trophy you can give a guy that's not winning the Hart or the Art Ross that year but is a highly-skilled player with great numbers, plays the game game clean and is very classy off the ice.

No one deserves it more, truly was a pioneer for all of the ultra skilled players of today.

All those guys had such great hands. Such skilled hockey in the 90s and 2000s. Not to say that it's not skilled now as well.

@@africaRBG i think players are better athletes now, but hockey seems so robotic now, there was so much creativity back then.

Paul Kariya's magical career was cut short because other NHL players decided to disrespect the game with headshots to other players. It's shame Kariya didn't have the honor of playing more seasons in the NHL. Hockey needs to clean itself up or we will have more Paul Kariya's retiring too early in their careers.
