Paul Kagame: Africans can't permanently stay in a 'victim' position | Talk to Al Jazeera

Paul Kagame has ruled Rwanda for 23 years.
The small, landlocked country of 13 million people has come a long way since the civil war and genocide of 1994. Rwanda’s significant progress in education, technology, healthcare and security has made the nation an African success story.
But is living under Kagame’s government an African utopia? And as his influence in the region expands along with the country’s geopolitical role, is Rwanda proving a disruptive force in the region?
The president of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, talks to Al Jazeera.

Good morning H.E President Paul Kagame, having listened to you in 2018 at the 71st World Health Assembly, in Geneva whereby you presented the Universal Health Coverage of Rwanda 🇷🇼 my judgement is that you deserve to be a lifetime President, when I meet Rwandan people internationally, they tell me they have looked around and have not yet identified anyone fit enough to replace you as President of Rwanda. Mr. President, keep up the good work 👍 as of now, you are the best President in the African Continent. AMEN 🙌🙏✨

What matters to us Africans is a president who stands for his people. A president who empowers his people. Kagame has done just that. It does not matter for how long he has been in power. What matters is he has done the right things. People support him. You have done well Kagame, we Africans love and support you.

The West wants weak president that they can influenced very easily, thus this every 5 years elections. We don’t care about Elections . If it is a military power or civilians power elected we don’t care . The president need to build his country like HE Paul Kagame .. thank you so much President Kagame ❤❤❤

Dictators Paul Kagame can be elected by 99% up to100% in his delusion of grandeur believing himself to be a demiGod.Paul Kagame is one of the many with a story of megalomania charging disturbed minds in Africa. It is tragic how history routinely repeats itself. The story of kleptocrats, while filing, cunning, blending their seduction and cruelty to the point where they cast their spells and take their people hostage and with the non-circumventable destination of their ending being to be defied. The Great Lakes Region of Africa has had a fair share of dictators charged with disturbed minds, suffering delusional mental illness, marked by feelings of personal omnipotence and grandeur. In the case of war criminal Paul Kagame his wars of loting the Democratic Republic of Congo to satisfy the needs of the blood thirsty globalization hungry for the abundant natural resources of DRC and Africa have led to large scale massacres of over 10 million Africans in the Democratic Republic of Congo and over 5 million displaced Africans in DRC. Paul Kagame has zero credibility on talking about what is good for Africans.

He has started from the scratch and his leadership builds Rwanda in amazing ways, he always puts his people before everything. English & French Kagame African Hitler English version. (Congo Genocide) More than 10 million dead, 500,000 women raped... and still silence. Until when ? Between April and July 1994, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), formerly Zaire, was invaded by an influx of Rwandan refugees and since then it has been *constantly* attacked and looted by troops from Rwanda and Uganda. What is happening in this country where the deaths are now counted in the millions and the rapes in the hundreds of thousands? Charles Onana demonstrates that since 1994 we have been witnessing the masked invasion of the Congo by militias and troops of Paul Kagame, the Rwandan head of state initially supported by the Clinton administration and then by France in Nicholas Sarkozy. Based on exclusive testimonies and documents from the CIA, the archives of the White House, the Elysée and the European Union, the author reveals how the United States trained this man without faith or law, to serve their interests in the DRC, the Central African Republic, Congo-Brazzaville, and other Central African states where the war between the West, China and Russia is fierce for the control of strategic mineral resources. Insatiable predators carve the DRC and plunder its wealth. After 20 years of research, the author alerts the public to the programmed extermination of local populations when several heads of state in the region and a European ambassador have already been assassinated. Charles Onana explains above all how the killing of the DRC is organized by using terror and lies in order to seize essential minerals for the world industry of armaments, mobile telephony and transition energy. An explosive document behind the scenes of the gigantic massacre of human beings which takes place a few hours by plane from our Western countries. Charles ONANA is a doctor in political science, specialist in the Africa of the Great Lakes and armed conflicts. Author of several reference books on this region including Europe crimes and censorship in the Congo (Duboiris), Rwanda: The truth about Operation Turquoise (The Gunner), Investigations into an attack: Rwanda April 6, 1994 (The Gunner), he worked for a long time with the investigator Pierre Péan on Rwanda and the DRC. Charles Millon, Jacques Chirac's Minister of Defense from 1995 to 1997, experienced the invasion of Congo-Zaire at the political outposts and recounts his personal experience in the preface to this book.

One day, justice will prevail over the genocide Kagame has done in DRC. The pretext was chasing down Interhamwe who can destabilize his tribalistic Tutsi power, then recently in Benin it was about revisionism about the DRC-Rwanda's borders. Wait until political stability gets back in DR Congo, then you'll see.

As a Rwandan and a young person who grew up under his rule, I believe that President Kagame deserves more years to lead Rwanda. He is a visionary leader for our country and for Africa. He always thinks of our future and creates it through his leadership style (setting a vision). I remember when he set Vision 2020 when I was 7 years old. As I grew older, I began to live in that vision. Today, he has set another vision, Vision 2050, which I am now living in. I love how he brings the future to today. Ghana and Rwanda seek to emulate Singapore. In fact, Rwanda is the only country in sub-Saharan Africa that has come close to emulating Singapore's rags-to-riches story, albeit not in the same spectacular style. The small landlocked central African nation boasts years of strong economic growth, pristine streets in the capital Kigali and donor praise for fighting corruption. "Beating the odds is a challenge we Rwandans and Singaporeans share, "Rwanda's President Paul Kagame told Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsein Loong, the son of Lee Kuan Yew, on a visit to the Asian state in 2008. Kagame referred to Singapore as "an inspiration for us in Rwanda," Reuters reported then.

The duration of his time in office is less relevant compared to the positive impact he has had. People stand by him because he has made the right decisions. Kagame's achievements are commendable, and he enjoys widespread support and affection from Africans. We deeply appreciate your efforts, President Kagame, and stand united in our support for you.

President kagame represents the true nature of Africa and Rwanda in particular. We Rwandans should consider ourselves lucky having some one like him in power, other wise it would have been business as usual. Ask your self how is Rwanda Rwanda with less resources doing better than Congo.

Exactly Hon Paul Kgame, God gave Africa many gifts. It's the greed of African leaders that continues to destroy this beautiful continent and its people.
