Even though it is meant as a comedy routine, the skills he demonstrates here are OFF THE CHARTS. He's magnificent. Just those belly slammers alone is enough to make a man cry. The comedy part is unlike any other because nobody else does ' comedy' routines. Just Paul Hunt.

The belly slammers are a dangerous game to play, but when executed perfectly you should be slamming your upper hips into the bar, so no.. crotch injuries

Still a phenomenal gymnast eventhough they are joke routines, this man genuinly has true true skill but also the true ability to capture the spectators attention with his comedy antics, true legend x

Yeah the beam routine has some serious skill/strength, particularly where he’s doing moves on the bottom of the beam. Hilarious, and I love seeing the gymnasts enjoying it - probably not a lot of laughs when you’re working so hard for your goals, so some well deserved levity.

He is crazy good how fun for the kids to have a coach like him especially when you hear about how rough the coaches were on gymnast back in the day

Luckily, Women's gymnastics is safe from mediocre and/or castrated men. They cannot out-strength the women on the floor or balance beam. There is a reason why you see so called "transwomen" only in disciplines like track, swimming, or powerlifting.

How cool. I always wanted to study gymnastics as young as 7 but my family simply could not afford it, but women's gymnastics is my favorite sport ever. Im sure you worked hard, but had fun too

It takes a LOT of skill to do it wrong when you know what you are doing and have been a champion. I LOVE watching him

This is brilliant!!! this is what the Olympics...humanity needs back..so good clean fun...laughter and joy in the world ....what a clever man. Really appreciated his routines and for this to be shared...The Good old days...we need to bring them back!

Paul retired last year...my mom just told me about him...like...today! Being in a great amount of pain, they say laughter is the best medicine..So I'm going to be binge watching :) Just "met" him and already love him!

Some of those hard body landings can be very crucial if even slightly miscalculated. This guy is a boss.

I saw him live perform all these. The man is magnetic live. Got the whole crowd dying in seconds. All of us were in the palm of his hand. He's very emotive. The bashfulness, the tom and jerry screams. He's a great actor and fantastic gymnast. I'd love to see nastia and shawn react to this.

I have a memory of someone doing a routine to what I think was baby elephant walk, that roamed over multiple apparatus. I'm sure it was for some kind of comedy gymnastics special. Was that Paul Hunt? I can't think of who else it would be to look it up.

The strength he must have had to do any and all of that - even as a smaller dude - esp the beam and uneven bars! Lordy that was awesome. I’m going to try and find videos of him competing, I hope some survive and are on KZread. Everyone in the comments who had him as a coach was very lucky, he seems such a lovely and humorous bloke. One of the good ones ✨

I've been doing gymnastics myself for years, and what he does is unbelievable! I also managed a backflip or a flicflac on a beam, but he wraps it up in an unbelievable slapstick. He is a legend!

First time seeing this guy! He's absolutely Amazing and incredibly hilarious! 😂 And to find out that he's a fellow Utahan, makes me feel so proud. Thanks for the laughter, Paul (ina). I've been looking for a gymnastics coach for my granddaughters. Hunt's🏅Gymnastics Academy ( in Midvale, not Salt Lake ) is just around the corner and down the street! YaY!! 😢😭 Just found out Paul Hunt is retired because of stupid Covid; and he had to close his Academy!

An amazingly talented guy!!! Muscle memory wants to do the movements correctly. Paul manages to do the routines in a fun and highly entertaining way without injuring himself. Totally awesome!!!

Why there is not an overwhelming backlash against the cruelty I just do not understand. Please support common sense, fairness, and sanity in girls sports. This guy has some mad skills! Imagine the work getting these exercises done. Love these!

I know each move is surgically calculated, but it stil freaks me out whenever he'd land on his back or on splits, what a genius tbh

Boy has he got amazing skills! His skits are hilarious. If anyone still watches the hot mess called the Olympics these days, you can see men in women's attire competing in women's events and women in men's attire competing in men's events.

Great skills for a comedy routine! Love it! I was laughing the whole routine!

His routine on the balance beam was fantastic. I would honestly say they should incorporate some of his moves in the actual moves on the balance beam. The split on the underside is insane.

Amazing! Absolutely amazing. There were actually difficult moves that “looked” easy while being comical 😂

He is incredible. Absolutely priceless sense of humor in combination with fantastic physical state .

Oh wow! Never laughed so hard! On my first coffee of the day and here's this guy! I do realize how difficult his moves are and yet he makes everything look so simple! This is incredible!

I would either want to be his Orthopedic Surgeon or his dentist. Absolutely phenomenal! Bravo!

@Dvorah Mariscal Please don't do dentist it is too many responsibilities , and does not pay w , ell as we think , the dentist must pay all the machines ,very expensive ! After all is paid there is not too much left for salary ! You have to be four 4;dentist in the same building to divide the cost of rent , pay the machines ! ,to be more luxurious paychecks ! 😁😃😍

OMG I remember his routines from the early '80s - I grew up in the NW suburbs of Chicago - saw him live multiple times - great fun - great memories!

Пол Хант под псевдонимом Паулина Хантова троллил советских гимнасток, показывая их якобы смешными и неуклюжими! Что поделать- политика... Поэтому имя этого гимнаста, клоуна и не упоминалось у нас ,а в телерепортажах его старались вырезать

@Alexand Ivanov нет ! Все правда . Это была политика тех лет ! Русских Ненавидели американцы . Поэтому имя этого гимнаста клоуна и не упоминалось у нас, в телерепортажах его старались вырезать. У Пола своя школа гимнастики в Америке, есть жена и дочь, тоже гимнасты. Есть все в Гугле

He's brilliant! So clever - it's harder to do this stuff wrong than to do it by the book. Love him! 😅

Paul Hunt is a spectacular gymnast. I worry that he may be in pain these days after all of the falls he took for these amazing comedy routines!

Part of the movements on the asymmetric bars are the same than Nadia Comaneci's routine. WOW! 👏👏👏

What's sad is he looks better in that kind of outfit than I would...ever did...
