Paul Dano Visits the Kim's Video Collection
Ойын-сауық
We're inviting our favorite actors and filmmakers to the legendary Kim's Video at Alamo NYC in the web series, Kim's Video Collection. In the second episode, Paul Dano shares memories of renting hard-to-find videos at Kim's as a young actor, and watching "Boogie Nights" specifically because his dad told him not to.

Lol. Huh? There's loads of actors who are legitimate cinephiles. Maybe for very mainstream actors (even sort of qualifies) but even then, I can name quite a few.

Not at all. Most actors are movie nerds, how do you think they wanted to become actors? The ones who aren't are the started in straight to DVD and never left that lane actors

@@SallyMankus130 Yeah, but how many Hollywood actors have you seen talk about Paul Schrader's "Transcendental Style in Film" or Ozu's films, etc.? I, for one, am hearing this book mentioned for the first time by an actor.
Fat City had a Twilight Time bluray release

...my ULTIMATE dream... ...for there to be a worldwide "rapture" that leaves only 2% of the world's population intact...and I establish and gather THE greatest collection of media (movies, TV, music, podcasts, books) from around the world ever... 🙏😑
Good for Kim’s video. Bad for us natives
