Bose really has a lot of superior components in their products bringing in what sets them apart. LOL at your comment “I’m not that fit” 😆

The weight is very attractive. My bose L1/1s with B2 bass module is something like 75 lbs. Yeah, it's portable but still heavy. This looks like half the weight or less. Very cool. However, I've found heavier and more robust speakers and speaker cabinets generally sound better as a rule. Lightweight powered speakers are cool, but they've never sounded as good to me as a great 45lb 15" cabinet. I think you've had both the older/heavier Bose and now the newer model? Specs, bells and whistles aside... and forgetting about your back :)...how does each sound in comparison?

Great review, How would 2 of these sound in a living room in stereo, with a mp3, or cd player.

@@PaulChilders Thanks for the quick reply, would there be any advantage of going with 2 of the 16's or 32's for better sound or larger soundstage. Thanks again!

@@robertbelknap if you are in a living room scenario, I think just one 16 is plenty and you can control it from your phone via bluetooth. Once you add 2, you’ll need to also add a mixing board. If you are planing some live music as well, one 32 might be the answer!

@@PaulChilders I'd be using a mixer I have for my korg kronos keyboard, I just wanted to get that stereo sound achieved with 2 speakers when playing cd's, Kinda creates a sweet spot no matter where you are in the room. they already are powered, so I won't need to by a hi end amp. Is there better sound from the 16, or 32?

@@robertbelknap perfect! Then two 16s would create exactly what you need! There is so much intelligibility in the sub and top end! And the sweet spot will be huge.
