Keep in mind that his disrespect was asking Paul for help with the Union who was going to strike. Paul's response was "are you calling me a gangster?". Such a weird dichotomy because Paul was killed because he forgot he was a gangster.

Paul Castellano had n sense of humor. :) It amazes me how mob members can kill and then have dinner at home like nothing ever happened. Love your videos.

What I don't understand is how stupid could a fella be, by putting his hands on a Boss's daughter. Even a soldiers daughter would be a death sentence, but a Boss ?! @@Arthurian. Not to any member of my family. I really hate that and what's worse is hearing men talk about it with no shame. I guy my sister didn't know slammed his car into the back of hers because he an 85' iq'er. When my sister got out to exchange insurance info he slapped her. She got his plate # and went to the police station and they said bc she had no visible marks they could only give her his info for insurance purposes. That's all I needed and I don't think he even knew where it came from. Yeah, it's been going in forever, but there are many alpha males who hate that almost more than anything. I don't know why a woman would ever tolerate that even once. It's madness. I would never let ANYBODY put their hands on me and not do something about it.

The daughter was not supposed to go running to get daddy to act on a harmless joke

Fun fact: Mr Castellano had the largest poultry distributor in brookyln. You would see his Lincoln parked in the loading dock. Some say Frank Perdue may have even visited. Connie's man was very abusive, the joke was the least of his poor choices. Cool video.

My Grandmother was good friends with his daughter Connie,..my families Private Sanitation business picked up all Paul's Dial poultry stops,..it's controlled by property rights back then,we got the stops cause of my uncles knowing them,..Cosa Nostra was all that mattered then

Frank Perdue wanted to get his chickens into the New York City, Long Island and New Jersey markets. Paul Castellano was one stop shopping for Perdue, enabling the expansion. Part of the deal was Paul became a distributor for Perdue products. Major area grocery chains abided by the arrangements for labor peace. Frank was very smart and knew what he had to do to make this happen. Bidness is bidness.
