Well in this story it's not because of the wife but in most cases yes it's the women who helps maintain and control the life style in which she sees value in her man and respects herself to not go outside of a good marriage. Good men and women are hard to find but many let the desires of life ruin a good life exchanging it for a short life of fun that will never last like the lady in this story.

In a relationship, its a combine effort of both husband and wife working together to have a "big house and nice cars". In your comment you said, its "not because of him, its his wife" implying that its only 1 person... which is false. In your statement, you said "big house & nice cars" which are materialistic objects and can be obtain through financial means and we all know "majority" of men are the ones working (to receive financial income) while the women stays home. Thus by going with this logic, men are the ones that actually acquires these "big houses & nice cars" not the women. If you were to say the husband and including* the wife can work together.... than that only imply that I am correct in saying it's an combine effort between both and not just "the wife" like you are claiming it to be. * mic drop *

I couldn’t help but comment. It’s seems the main lesson was missed. It’s sad that people go through their whole life seeking approval and love from others only to get let down over and over again. First you appease your parents by letting them tell you how to live your life. You rebelled with the first husband by going outside your marriage, then out of lack of self love you settled for someone less and puts up with it out of self spite. The first and foremost lesson should be self love, making your own life decisions and coming to terms with your mistakes, forgiving your self, only then, you will find someone whom truly love you.
