I remember i was about 4 or 5 years old when my family had a party at my gran and grandads house in the early fifties and they played this song on my uncle walts record player , I'll never forget that party

I'm 78 now, but I have been loving this son and this wonderful singer since I was a kid and momma played it on the radio❤

I grew up with this music and this is what music should always be! No rap, not hip hop,and the rest of the so called music.

My husband and I loved this song. He passed in 2009 after 48 years of marriage, we never changed partners again.

The only bad thing about this song is that it makes me cry every time I here. My brother you used to sing this song to me when I was child. Last time I saw my brother was in either 57 or 58. He was in the Air Force. Got discharged in 59 in Nebraska.

Patti Paige is my dad and mom favorite singer back in the 50s . And always listen to it. And could feel in to your heart. My parents resting in peace now. More than 100 years old. I used to remember when I was a young boy. Every morning , my father played Patti Paige song. That was 1953. I'm 73 years old now

My Grandmother could sing this flawlessly and effortlessly.

My late mother sang this song to me when I was a baby. I am now 65. RIP Mommy.

My Dad loves classic songs like this. I listen to this kind of songs every now and then. I miss my Dad, I really do. He died 4 years ago and every time I listen to classic songs like this, I remember him. He will always be in my heart.

I love listening to all these songs many of the words refer to my life with my wonderful husband together for 51 years and all loving we were from different country’s but we were one. especially the song take my heart my husband went to work in Iran 2 years after we met I didn’t know if I’d ever see him again but we wrote to each other and he said please get this song it made him feel so emotional as people had tried to part us because of our differences I didn’t see him for 4 months but we wrote daily sadly he died of a brain tumour and covid but I have put him in the book of remembrance in St. Paul s cathedral god bless him

I don't think I can ever get tired of listening to Patti Page. I can listen to her singing many times a day everyday and on.

My name is Patti and I would stand on my Dad's feet and we would waltz around the house to this song. I remember looking up one time and thinking what a nice face my Daddy had. The best dance partner I ever had. Gosh I loved him and miss him.

I was on rotation to Korea some years back. On the train with the boys a old man heard us playing music on a speaker ( not very polite in Korea) ,but he came over talking (we didn’t understand him). We showed him the photo and searched up this song to play. I like to imagine he heard this song during the Korean War. Very old man so I don’t doubt he was in his 20s around 1950. Just a cool encounter. ( played the song for him as respect)

I’m a 32 Malaysian. And always in love with oldies (heavy influence by my dad, grandma and aunts). My grandma is no longe here (always dream of her). The songs back then are simply amazing

Dear Trent, I went through Marine Corps boot camp in 1962 and never pictured my DI's as going home to a loving wife and a family. But at the end of three months we all came to respect the our DI's. And thanks to people like your daddy I was a ten 10 year vet and my wife and I still love dancing to this classic song. I still remember all my DI's names.
